I'd keep Burgzorg if the price is reasonable. He adds something different to the team.
He's already scored as many as Ward did last season in half the time (so also just 1 fewer than Rhodes in 17 games less... since there's a clamour from some to bring JR back).

I'd like to see Delano played as a winger which I believe is his preferred position, I like him but he aint worth £1M IMO.

Burgzorg is like Thierry Henry compared to some of the shite we have signed over the last few seasons,I'd like him to be a bit stronger and stay on his feet at times, and be a bit more basic when he needs to,not keen on him standing on the ball when we're not winning or drawing slightly showboating, but he's got real pace and can be a right pain for defenders, and he's not scared to have a shot

Completely disagree, 1 million quid does not get you much nowadays and a player with Burgzorgs potential and ability would be a snip. We have to consider sell on fee and I would say we would be highly likely to sell him on for more money. This is his first season in English football and he isn't doing bad at all. The fans at his parents club also think highly of him. That might be irrelevant in the grand scheme of things but look back to when we signed Diakhabe, Mbenza and others where the fan base of their former clubs were laughing at how stupid we could be to pay that kind of money for them.

I'd like to see him play in a front line with players that are any good.

People need to realise, if Burgzorg was the full package he wouldn't be playing for town. You say that, but Danny Williams played for Town. Williams certainly had the "full package" 😆

I’d keep him on the basis of who are you going to get in that’s better for the same money? Could do a hell of a lot worse (and we often have done)

Has been on the bench a few times and also injured but appears on track to get 10 goals + and not even a central striker. That must be worth £1m in today’s overblown transfer market.

Considering Koroma seems to being played out of position (If at all) and Sorba's set pieces have been completely changed - The Zorg is our most likely source of a goal. Transfer fees of 1.0m doesn't get you very far these days. I think The Zorg is likely going to get 10 goals for us this season and even though we need to find better; he would be very useful as an inside forward or off the bench for a reasonable fee. We've been told the money is there so why wouldn't we buy someone that makes our first 11 instantly better and would certainly we a good option off the bench when the new regime builds a squad capable with the said funds available. We need first 11 players and squad players because what we have right now is largely way off championship standard - our entire bench is YTS whenever we have the odd injury or suspension. I know the clubs plan at the time was to strip the assets not invest however I think it's clear we made a mistake not picking up Sinani for 1.0m. His corners were as good as Sorba's, he is left sided, scored goals and was a link between midfield and the final third that we haven't had since. I never understood the split opinion on him; I thought he was great for us. If we could find someone for 1.0m that could replicate what he brought to the side I think we'd have a gem on our hands. Blackburn couldn't handle his running, pace and power today. I bet if they knew he could be secured for 1.0m they'd be all over it given the opportunity. Even based off half a season, we have to sign him up if it is indeed 1.0m. If Nagle is really going to invest and better our 11 then at worst he would make an excellent impact sub - should we ever get to that level of depth/quality.

Burgzorg really fired up today, I think he wanted to show the tit that slagged him off at Norwich just how wrong he was.
Really nice touch at the end when he gave his shirt to a young lad.

No brainer to sign this guy up. Surround him with better players and teach him when to release the ball and he’d be flying.
Strong runner, tricky, runs the channel very well - for a counter attacking team he’s got a lot of great attributes.
He seems to give his match shirt away often, nice touch.

Don’t think his decision making is half as bad as is made out…he looked up and released the ball perfectly well for Sorba’s goal. It’s just that the vast majority of what direct attacking players do, doesn’t end in success. If it did we’d see 10+ goals every week.

And was TINY, my lad was 13 or 14 at the time and it was perfect size for him!

Really wasn't sure about this lad to start with and maybe still arent totally convinced, but have to say he was excellent yesterday. Probably the only player we have who when he gets the ball, you dont pretty much know exactly what hes going to do with it.
hes an exciting and sometimes frustrating player to watch, but I love his confidence and cockiness. Blackburn couldn't handle him at all in that game.

Already scored more goals than any town player in the whole of last season. He was a nightmare for the Blackburn defence yesterday. Excellent performance 👏

Took a fair few knocks in that game, so much so that in the White Rose club after the game, he limped up to the stage, then had to ask for a chair to sit down while he got interviewed by Rambo. Hopefully he's alright for Friday - great performance yesterday.

Just a thought - allegedly it was the new scouting team (including Cartwright?) that recommended Burgzorg, so an encouraging overseas start by them if so. He has his frustrations and limitations, but he has talent. Surround him with better players and that talent can flourish; teamwork and discipline can be learned.

A lot of us focus on his skills whilst on the ball but what really impresses me is his movement off the ball. He often takes up good positions and is available for a pass, contrast this to a lot of our other strikers, it’s really noticeable.

Frustrating perhaps, but statistically he's by far our best player. If we weren't shit as a team we'd be unanimously saying how brilliant he is. Probably our most exciting since VLP.

He frustrates me at times but what I do like about him is that, when he's got the ball, he's always looking to go forward at pace. It might not always work but at least he has the mindset to try and get the ball moving forward quickly.
