If he sorts out his ego and learns to pass he’ll be one of the best players in that league

If he sorts out his ego and learns to pass he’ll be one of the best players in that league Where has this myth come from? Even with those problems aside he still has loads of flaws in his game. Thinks he can go past a man by rolling his studs over the ball yet it hardly fools anyone. Town fans see someone quick and think they must be good. He was pretty much a slightly better Theo Robinson

They're at it again with their mental gymnastics. I'm half tempted to sign up and share the videos of him not squaring it for a tap in multiple times
"He signed for them after the season had started so didn’t have a pre season with his new team or any time to build a rapport before the season got underway. In terms of the blind alley thing, the Huddersfield centre forwards couldn’t keep up with him, Lathe and Jones will be able to, which might help. He may also simply look better in a better team."

Signed a four year deal. Wonder what he'll do for the last 3 and a bit years of it.
Clearly very skillful but .....

just a thought...maybe being surrounded by better technical players might bring out the best of him. Just a thought as raw ability-wise, he was levels above any other player in our squad

Maybe Burgzorg will put in a word about his mate Thomas.

Maybe Burgzorg will put in a word about his mate Thomas. He is probably already there pen in hand. Ready to feck up the dressing room between them (It is only rumours). What are the odds on them going down... 🤔😂🙈

You don't need to play with better players to know to square it to an unmarked player with an open goal.
I've NEVER seen as much anger aimed at one of our own players ever.

Will score a few for boro, but more or less guaranteed to show what a self centred selfish moron he is. The boro fans will take to him until he starts doing what DB does.

How on earth has a championship come in for him.... absolutely woeful and 99% of the reason we went down..
I'll be putting a tenner on boro getting relegated.

They already have an exact replica in Latte Laff (or whatever his name is).
Frightening thought having 2 players who tie themselves in knots, won't pass and have no end product.
Good luck Boro.

A plain and simple breathtaking piece of exaggeration. I'm shaking my head like the nodding dogs you used to get in car rear windscreens. To illustrate, by implication, Cartwright and Darren Moore take less than 1% of the blame for our relegation. I can't get my breath.

Why let the truth get in the way of a good exaggeration, if we've solely been relegated on the non squaring of a ball then I must have been watching a different season to other Town fans.

Do it. You’ll be called bitter but then in three months time they’ll be “oh, maybe he was right after all”.

You know all those times when we sign a player, start getting excited and then see that fans from their previous club think he's shit and can't believe we've signed him? This is what it's like from the other side.

I’d imagine they’ll have done their due diligence and will have explained the off side rule to him before letting him sign a four year contract.

I’d imagine they’ll have done their due diligence and will have explained the off side rule to him before letting him sign a four year contract. And told him that there is a thing called passing that footballers often try to do. It's where you kick the ball towards someone wearing the same colour shirt as you on the pitch and usually is done with less power than shooting. It also means that when you are on the ball you do this a lot instead of try to dribble past every fucking opposition player or shoot from a stupid position when there is a teammate with an empty net.

Not sure he really got much game time at Mainz. Equally, don't think he is top-division quality, but certainly capable of being a very good player at Champ level. Could go either way for him at Boro

I don’t understand all the hate.
As for blaming him solely for our relegation wtaf??
Plenty of skill and perhaps playing with better players and under better coach might start being a team player. Got an eye for a goal and defo won’t be continuously playing centre forward

I sit right behind the dugouts and it was funny, he’s a giant baby. He better be playing every minute of every game otherwise Delano will do as Delano does - create toxicity

Equally, don't think he is top-division quality, but certainly capable of being a very good player at Champ level. Could go either way for him at Boro 100%. Seems lots of our fans bought into the pantomime villain aspects of his performance and can't see beyond that. If he'd been in the Leeds team for example, he'd have not looked any worse than Rutter, and better in certain aspects, and thats a player who is apparently worth £15m+
