A player that will do something incredible every time he's on the pitch.
Sadly, 9 times out of 10 it's something incredibly shit.

Lovely reading. Nice to know other clubs carry on paying these waste of space players who are massively responsible for our current position.

They gave him a four year contract according to that link. Makes our recruitment team look like Man City's.

“Fucking headless chicken that lad. Right ball greedy fucker as well.”

Weren’t they chirping about him to us when he signed for them? Seem to remember a few of their fans getting digs in

He’s a contractor, no loyalty to any club, taking his generous wages regardless of performance.

This will astound all on here. Think his agent has done a brilliant job getting him a four year deal. Just another example of those who do the recruitment having rocks for brains or an example of more dodgy dealing in the transfer market.

Yep another tosser player that most town fans knew was a selfish moron that needed removing from our club asap . Far too many of our squad destroyed our championship chances last year, and too many fans kept defending them saying they were our best players. Best players don’t destroy the team morale.

He scored against the Chesties, that gives him a little bit of credit.

He scored against the Chesties, that gives him a little bit of credit. Its fast running out. As he's no longer a town player, his "credit rating" among fans is academic I guess... though to be honest I'd forgotten he'd scored against them for us last season (EDIT- and then subsequently invented a goal that never happened!), and was referring to him scoring for Middlesbrough in the League Cup several weeks ago. Still, any player with a goal against Leeds for us will at least have that going for them. Even if they were mostly shite overall, sticking one on our noisy neighbours is still a plus. Who would even remember Karim Matmour if he hadn't scored at The Skip?

Always amazes me the amount of hatred he gets on here. Sure, he wasn't great, but he didn't (to my knowledge) speak out about us, slag us off, down tools or anything like that.
He's moved on, not doing great. Why are we reveling in that?
Save that for your Jack Hunts.

They gave him a four year contract according to that link. Makes our recruitment team look like Man City's. Fell off my chair when I read that. Lol, what were they thinking. We dodged a bullet just getting him on loan. Mind, there were plenty calling for him to be signed mid-last season when he had a decent little run.

People thought at a million quid , that he would be worth it. What people did not take into consideration, is a million quid is a lot when the player is a complete idiot and is consistant in his incosistancies. I would have chuckled my head off if, when he went into the crowd at Preston "respect me" and someone clocked him. Him as player and a person has very little worth "respecting" he is a ball hogging , plays for himself not the team type.

Delano Burgzorg playing well would be an asset to any club in the EFL. Delano Burgzorg playing badly would not be an asset to any club in the EFL.

So thanks for that!

Matmour scored his first goal for Huddersfield in the West Yorkshire derby against Leeds United in Huddersfield's 4–1 victory on 19 March 2016.
