He obviously had a difficult season. The heart condition early on, post COVID, must have really set him back and he doesn't seem to have been able to break into the team afterwards. Picked up an ankle injury as well and seems to have struggled more after that. Lets hope he is fully fit now and can stay that way. Bundesliga is a higher standard than the Championship, I think, but he played plenty of games in Eredivisie as a winger prior to the move to Mainz, who brought him in on a permanent deal so obviously rated him. Could be a very interesting signing. |

Don't think he will be the striker some are thinking, We seem to be chasing a main striker as well, Dela prefered position is playing on the left but he seems a better goal threat which we are missing.

Happy with this signing.
Could be great, and with an option to buy. A speedy goal threat. Hopefully he's better than the last two speed merchants we had.
Ideally a striker and a young/prime Hogg type player and then we may be set.
