Thought that was ok. Like every game so far this season, we could have lost and we could have won. Key to us was getting a second when we were well on top at the start of the 2nd half.

A point but we're bloody awful. Think the narrow defeat to a misfiring Leicester had many of us fooled but without several new players this team is going down. Disagree 2 or 3 will be fine

On a different day boro win 5-1. Even though we had about 6 good chances . Another one wearing "hate town blinkers " We actually had 16 shots to their 15. So Livescore says. On target 3 to then 2 to us. So on another day, Boro could have got 3 and us 2. Yeah so that makes these 6 good chances even worse as we only got 2 of the buggers on target. I think of it comes down to the lack of quality and a goalscorer in the team, the players are grafting and getting stuck in, we just need that bit extra and we'll be ok. Happy with the pint today.

We were pretty average today and had we played a more clinical team we'd have been walloped Another one who used to go down Leeds Road in the barca days . We contributed to a good game of championship football and won't go down . Though if we did I'd guess you'd get some warped pleasure from it

We were pretty average today and had we played a more clinical team we'd have been walloped When Rudoni hook it goalwards from 30 yards and it nearly went in that wasn't on target. When Diarra scraped the upright that wasn't on target

Same old same old, we played exactly how we've started this season, absolutely zero surprises: we try hard, battle for everything, lack quality passing the ball from the back to front, we have a CF that wins no headers, doesn't run in behind & rarely holds it up & lays it off, but tries hard.
If we don't get another CF in & a midfielder, both that will improve the 1st 11, we'll have a relegation battle season.
The lads are trying but I really don't think Edwards is the answer at RB. Hogg was excellent again, despite a stupidly given early yellow card but we would have lost that game easily without Nicholls, who was easily M-O-M.
Enjoyable watch though, much more entertaining than last season.

We were lucky but as I said initially very happy with a point.

Second half was much better, although Ward was still almost invisible. Decent cameo from Burgzorg, excellent chasing back from him. He's not a central striker based on that showing though. Sorba had a really good game, so did Nicholls. The defence did OK to stop them scoring more than one, but need to be more organised.
Rudoni did some excellent work at times, but was too easily manoeuvred off the ball at others. Can't decide whether he was 'unlucky' or 'rubbish' with the attempt to lob the keeper 🤣.
Diarra and Koroma, not quite as good as they have been. Hogg OK considering he was booked so early, wrongly I thought on one viewing.
I'd have taken a point beforehand and we're out of the relegation zone 👍

The sort of game we'd have lost by 3 or 4 goals last season before Warnock rocked up. Everyone knows where the squad is lacking, the club is trying to strengthen. Little point moaning that we don't play like prime Brazil.

Fantastic game and thoroughly enjoyed it. They will be up there and to be fair given how hard our start has been I think we will be mid table this season if we bring in that midfielder and striker

We were better in the 2nd half got a lucky own goal.
In spite of our improved performance we could quite easily have lost it late on with borough blasting over several times when it looked like they should have at least made Nicholls make a save or two.

I like the look of Del boy. Bit of Tino about him, very silky on the ball. Looks good, but also looks nothing like a striker. Hopefully we're still looking to bring in someone who can contribute more than Ward - playing a season out with Ward who has bagged three goals in the last 12 months and a pair of inexperienced back-ups who have one Championship goal between them is a massive risk ☹️ We gave 1 of them 5 minutes and the other didn't get on. Ward is terrible, move over Danny and give youth it's chance

But I'm sure it irks you to be anything other than fucking miserable so carry on

I enjoyed that, definitely had a go and didn't just sit back.
One concern is.. we do seem to let players run straight through the middle on our goal. Today we made a few last ditch tackles rather than engaging earlier.
Del boy looks lightening fast.

They have a better side than Town do but we have left with a point. We fought tremendously hard for everything, bit of luck with some woeful Boro finishing but we challenged them, we went toe to toe. It was a good game and a good performance. Not sure what or where your expectations are for Town this season but last year we looked destined for league one for 7 of the 9 months. We look alot better this year.

When I was a lad, a striker's main job was to stick it in the net, but that seems highly unlikely whilst Ward is the main man.

My main concern today was how easily they got through and behind our midfield, especially 2nd half. There doesn't seem to be much talking going on between them as I watched more closely what was happening. Either a flat 4 or players just randomly running off and leaving their guys unmarked. All very disturbing.
Nevertheless there's a few positives too, good work rate, and movement not bad.
Think it just confirmed what we've all said, we need a midfielder and a striker..not 100% sure about Edwards at full back too..
