Superb result, couldn't get any RL reception despite being in the Colne Valley all afternoon and resisted looking at my phone. Very pleasantly surprised when I did check at 17:00! So pleased for management and players and good to see Wiles and Burgzorg start. The finish was top drawer! Are Thomas and Edwards injured, not seen it mentioned anywhere? Some unexpected results today all round, proves what a competitive league it is! I live in Slawit and I've not been able to get a radio Leeds signal here for afew years now.

Just got home and that was most enjoyable. Not had that feeling for many a Saturday! It only papers over the cracks of the pathetic and unacceptable performance in the transfer window though. That's what wallpaper is for - to paper over the cracks. What's pathetic is folks saying they won't support any more if we get relegated. Hmmm.

Well said Jello (c20 mins up the board- I don’t know how to attach previous comments). These keyboard warriors are self indulgent to think only they are disappointed when things don’t work out. They contribute nothing other than to make this forum wearying for the rest of us. They are a small number, less than 30, from a fan base of 15,000 and don’t represent our views.

Wiles worked very hard 1st half, box to box, got a couple of shots away but, quite reasonably, tired 2nd half. Burgzorg looks to have some ability, nice chest down & shot for the goal, though the GK might have done better. I have the feeling he's not really a team player but he does add some quality. Burgzorg absolutely smashed the shot, the keeper had little chance because he hit it that hard/well.

He’s only been here 2 minutes - let’s see if Warnock can make him a better player?

We have a different definition of the term support. Where do you live? Why would where you live determine whether you watch a team in the Championship or league 1? 🤔

Got a good feeling in my bones 2 v 0 town had a nice flutter on the score tommorow and on a town win . We’ve had a hard start with tough fixtures but things haven’t looked too bad for me , Saturday will will shock a few ( town fans mainly). UTT Not 2 v 0 but had a great feeling about today. Paid for my day backed town to win at 5.2 on betfair as well as the score prediction ( that one lost unfortunately) . Lovely jubbley free day on the piss and the pleasure of a last minute winner and pandamonia in the away end .

Brilliant win. How did Wiles and Burgzorg play? Wiles gives us something we've been lacking in midfield in that he actually moves off the ball and looks to get into space. Clearly not 100% match fit yet but he's going to be crucial for us. Burgzorg still has work to get upto speed too, but he's certainly got something about him. His first touch to tee up his goal was as good as you'll see, don't think we've another player in the squad who would've controlled that how he did.

Right. So I live in a WV postcode. It costs me well over £150 to watch a town home game. Different idea of what support means... OK mate.

Why would where you live determine whether you watch a team in the Championship or league 1? 🤔 Because it costs a lot of money to travel to games... Guess what - I never once thought about the cost of it from 2009 to approx 2018 when our club was run properly!

What is pathetic is you not just enjoying the win because you feel we haven't spent enough. Much better to have faith in warnock rather than spunking money on shite.

I often have to spend the same on away games. Are you seriously saying that if we were to be relegated and then had a good season. Then were involved in a promotion decider against, say, Barnsley, that you would say:- "No, this is League 1, I am not going to travel to be there" Nah. You are a supporter, you'd be there.

It's amazing how great Saturday night feels when Town win. Especially after a 96th minute winner away from home against Carlos.
Sounds like there's something to work with - Wiles, Burgzorg and Harratt doing well. Let's hope it's the start of a run for us.
Ps have no axe to grind against Carlos. Amazing manager for us.

Yeah I'd be there in your example. But I wouldn't be purchasing a season ticket in League One. How many times a year do you spend £150 per person watching Town away? Nowhere near 23...

The failure to sign a striker plus at least 2 prem loanees will mean we go down.

Normally do the train and that then costs £150 all in with a couple of drinks and a bite to eat.

Irrelevant.

And when the club are run so poorly - it eventually puts me off. It might not do for you. You can walk from your house.
