Stop this taking People on, especially today after a great win. You are undoubtedly a great supporter and it is an increased effort for you with how far you travel. Enjoy the win and the rest of your weekend. Sorry Morley - Off to bed now Dad. Take me on as well, why not.

When you live in the WV postcode area don't you have to pay for your drinks and bites to eat? Irrelevant. Nicely avoided why it costs me £150. It's an expensive day out. And when the club are run so poorly - it eventually puts me off. It might not do for you. You can walk from your house. I've avoided nowt, unless you are missing something out. As for walking, I often do, have done and will continue to do, what ever division we are in. As long as I able. I will also spend over £150 to go to away games at Chelsea, QPR, Charlton or Gillingham (4 random teams from the top 4 divisions) But only the match ticket and the travel really count. Everything else, food, drink etc is irrelevant.

We have a different definition of the term support. Where do you live? What’s the difference between a home game in the Champ and a home game in league one?

Not unfair at all. Most folk are able to look at all the information presented and form a balanced opinion. However, there’s a small hardcore of noisy arseholes that appear to revel in knocking Town at every given opportunity. For every conceivable thing. I’m sick of wading through post after post by these wankers, having a ‘virtual’ circle jerk. It’s like they want a permanent shitstorm just to justify their own existence. They’re not even happy when Town do well - all you get is a single mealy-mouthed ‘I’m glad I was wrong’ type comment, before finding something else to bitch about ad infinitum. If being a Town fan is such hard work, just fuck off and find something else to do so that you don’t come on here posting your shite. Coonts. You should enjoy the victory yourself mate, a bit of irony in your post I think FWIW I think the majority (not all) of the criticism on here is warranted and would happen at any other club given the same circumstances. Anyway let’s just enjoy the victory! Funny isn’t it - these halfwits are more bothered about complaining about people who have complained, than enjoying the win

What’s the difference between a home game in the Champ and a home game in league one? Nothing - I attended almost every home game in League One from 2007 to 2012.

I love it. Football managers are the polar opposite of most folk: they travel to work in a suit, stick a tracksuit on when they’re doing the work on the touch line, then slip back into a suit to get on the bus home. Why the hell would you do that? Wear what you want Neil! No need to have more costume changes than a Lady Gaga concert. UTFT!

Here am I...elated after watching my team win and win well - hopefully easing the doom and gloom and showing that we can be what we showed at the back end of last season.....thinking I might read some excellent tactical analysis of the performance and thoughts about the how Wiles settled in and instantly makes the midfield look complete, or that Headley looked really uncomfortable all game.
Instead as per usual it ends up as two posters taking lumps out of each other.
Christ on a bike...we won....we haven't done that yet. Let's be happy, debate the positives and the things we still need to improve. Have a separate thread called 'I fancy an argument for no reason' if you wish.
Anyway. Excellent performance. So far away from the smash and grab some have described it. Proper committed performance with pockets of quality.
And we had some shots...that went in...who'd have thought!!

Jesus - we win a game and play well and it starts WWIII. Surely if you are a supporter then you are a supporter. It’s not negotiable and as fans we don’t get to decide how the club is run. It’s fine to have an opinion on what you might do differently but you don’t stop supporting them. Or perhaps you do - I guess it’s your right to do what you want. However it might be worth remembering that we are now paying for a club that was run badly previously and that will include some pain. We had 2 years of PL money plus parachute payments and at the end of it still had a shit squad with no money and a big debt to a Chairman that wants his money back. Not sure there was a big queue of willing new owners. I wanted a new striker too and I’d quite like a new Aston Martin but sometimes things just don’t work out the way you want. Keep the faith. UTT

That's a great win at a difficult place to go. Contrary to the opinion of some, we do have some really good quality Champiomship players. I'd have loved to see an experienced striker through the door on deadline day, but I think Harratt is ready to step up. Signs that he's going to be very capable at this level.

UTT Excellent post Rab ! - I started out supporting Town as a 10 year old a long time ago (43 years c. 1980) when they were in Division 4 and ultimately won it 🏆👍 I’ve also seen them play live in League 1, The Championship and The Premier League and my goodness if HTAFC were ever consigned thru successive relegations to The Vauxhall Conference - well do ya know what - I’d still travel down by ferry and road twice a season from the back sticks of West Scotland to support them ! Of course like all other supports we can be a broad church and disagree about various ongoings at the club we profess to love and debate is mostly healthy but I for one will always be there for Huddersfield Town Football Club - 😊 Looking forward to watching the highlights now with a dram on STV (council telly)... And ma glass is always half full - even though it’s mostly half empty - through rapid consumption of course and certainly not ma beloved Huddy Town ! 🥃 🥃

Delighted for Rudoni. He was poor last week, but has had some persistent criticism on here which I feel is shit crack - the sort where people defend a player they like by attacking another player.
He is only 22 and is learning his game. Lads at that age won’t always be consistent. Feels like when we bought him he was an attacking midfielder that got into the box, but we’re asking him to play in the middle of the park and do a bit of everything, against much better players than he was used to.
I was unsure of him at the start of last season but he’s been first class under Warnock. I think Wiles will be a great partner for him as he’s not the quickest and today wiles looking pretty rapid and made good runs off the ball. The setup today suited Rudoni as he had a few options in front of him, at least in the first half when I was watching.

It’s nice for once to be on the right side of a tight margins game. Plymouth away, we could have won but they of course took their chances. Leicester at home, no way did we deserve to lose. Norwich, enough said!. If only we had made one signature signing and brought that 15-20 goals plus striker in. I honestly think we would have a very capable and balanced side at this level.

I'd agree with that, and I think some have been underrated and underappreciated in some quarters. My concern is that we could do with a few more in a few positions because I don't think the balance is right and the squad depth ain't great in some areas of the pitch.

It costs me £50 in petrol there and back. Wouldn't matter what league we are in, my Saturdays wouldn't change for the world.
