He could have all the ability in the world, but sadly with his attitude it isn’t going to take him far. Just my opinion though, let’s see how it develops. Baseless opinion. No it’s not.

His 'bad attitude' took him from non-league to the Championship, and might be taking him to top flight football in France. It's taken him somewhere already.

(If it has?).......Maybe his teammates have the answer & not just at Town.

It's what happens on the pitch that we as supporters judge players on, not what goes on in the dressing room. Sorba was our best player last season and doesn't deserve the negativity that is dished out on his plate. you mean the least worse turd from a bucket full of relegated turds ??
Hardly a glowing reference is it...

Certainly no wingback, can’t track his man, make a tackle, make a cross or pass, or play a role in team judging by friendlies so far.

I’m going to use that first sentence on my refreshed LinkedIn profile. Cheers, I’d been struggling with the words for a while… 😉

We've been at the game in Kossen, he left in a car before any of the other players had emerged. Summat is going on with him as he took none of the set pieces in the game as well.

2 x loan fees now for Sorba then opportunity to sell for a fee (all be it one year left on contract)

2 x loan fees now for Sorba then opportunity to sell for a fee (all be it one year left on contract) That's something I hadn't thought about regarding the rumours that we are willing to let him go cheap. I wonder how much money we got when we loaned him out last year? If we received a decent loan fee from Blackburn it could explain why we are willing to sell him for less.

Maybe the reputed £1M fee that everyone laughed at for being too low, was actually the loan fee for a season?

Seems a no brainer to me letting him go either on loan or permanently.
Doesn't fit in to the managers preferred formation, on good money and can bring in a decent fee.
Use those wages and transfer fee to strengthen a position we desperately need to, a top striker being key.

He's sat 8 rows in front of me on the flight back to Manchester from Munich.

Seems bizarre playing him today if he was so close to a move.

He's on a plane to Manchester tonight, might have even landed by now. Draw your own conclusion...

So it turns out he is a twat after all! He may well be and the number of managers that have had 'issues' with him is growing. But he (or his agent) may also have found a way to keep being paid his Championship wage this season rather than taking the built in pay cut because of relegation. I'm pretty sure I'd be looking for a way to make sure I didn't have to take a pay cut, especially with a new child born recently.

The Nantes move has been around for about a month now, maybe time was given to find a permanent move which probably would have been best for both, playing him in Austria possibly got someone's phone ringing with ST homeward bound before the final whistle.......His agent should get double commission, not easy to find work for someone who doesn't appear to help himself from 'bits' we've heard.

No but the point is we are letting him go on loan.. we clearly want rid

He appeared quite an isolated figure in Austria, he wasn't the usual lively energetic guy you've seen in stuff the club have put out in the past. I spoke briefly to him as I've been his shirt sponsor in the past and he was quite reserved, understandably really.
I think Nantes/whoever have been pissing about, so he's not been sure about what's going on. I think (but don't know) that the club have forced Nantes hand by playing him yesterday to say either sign him or we play him.
It's time to go, everyone has a shelf life at any organisation in my view and he's got to the end of his at Town.
I hope he rediscovers the 21-22 Sorba who was a great player wherever he goes. He was great with me and my lad when we met him. Something has changed for him, and maybe a new environment will bring him back to how he was.

Fans have been shouting Nantes at Sorba for about 18 months... Looks like he was listening.
