Delighted he got the second that killed the game yesterday. He was one of the best players on the pitch, gave it everything and tracked back exceptionally well. Laid the first on a plate for Koroma as well.
Canny from Warnock to sub him just before the end so he could soak up the applause and his song.
Heβs done well this season and is another key player Warnock has rehabilitated. Hopefully heβs back on track now after a bad season last time.

Thought he had a great game. Helik my man of the match though. Thought he was incredible Took a mate of mine to the game yesterday whoβs a Liverpool fan.. Good to get a neutral opinion on your team sometimes.. He thought we are really solid at the back.. But lack a quality striker to finish teams off.. π»

After his second bad cross, an old chap sat behind me wanted him subbing.
Saying that, another tit, who doesn't shut up all game ("FORWARD, FORWARD") wanted a few subs on about 35 mins ππ
A goal and an assist, what's not to like.

Yesterday he looked a talented player. I also thought he looked fit and powerful. I had not seen him prepared to take his man on so often in a game before and of course his crossing ability his sublime.
Add to this a superb work rate and a desire to track back. Really pleased for him.

Hopefully, he has got issues off his chest and will enjoy a great season and find himself back in the Wales squad.

Shame about his interview afterwards however. Koroma looked like he wanted the ground to open up. He definitely comes across as if he's still pissed off with the whole fanbase. Someone needs to get in his ear and iterate the noisy minority don't represent us all. Some pretty shit stuff said mind, and the 'minority' was growing pretty quick.

Played well. He's never going to get every cross right, so a few poor ones should be expected.
Good to see him looking more like his old self.

Just caught the interview with Sorba and JK.
He has every right to sill be annoyed at the fan base. The vocal minority were overly critical of him and it caused a bit of a feedback loop of Sorba getting stick, which made him deflated, which made him play worse, which made him get more stick etc.
He does sound like he has matured a little though, he called himself (even if it was tongue in cheek) lazy and publically stated a shortfall in his game.
I also picked up the interviewer talked about asking JK for his comments post game, JK generally seeming like he doesnt enjoy public speaking and the interviewer calling Sorba his "co presenter". Maybe im over reading it but if Sorba stepped in to do the talking with his team mate who he knew didnt like it, that also shows maturity.
Either way, he hasnt looked very happy at all this season outside of goal celebrations. I hope he regains some of the happiness he had that first season because he seems like a passionate player and while some hate him for being blunt and showing negative emotion. I like that honesty and passion.

See also the reactions to the Warnock interview.

Shame about his interview afterwards however. Koroma looked like he wanted the ground to open up. Was a shame. The interviewer gave him the chance to connect with the fan base again after a really positive performance and he just had another 'its all about me and the team' dig, effectively saying he couldn't give a shit about the fans and whether they like him or not. He seems to have a real bee in his bonnet about a tiny proportion of our fanbase giving him shit on social media. I would hope, but I doubt, he is bright enough to realise that it was just a tiny percentage of our fans and most of them will be kids...and that the vast majority of HTFC fans weren't digging him out on Twatter and will simply praise and criticise him based entirely on how he plays, just like they do every other player.

Get your point, but let's not just point the finger at him and our youth. From what I've seen, boomers have easily more than their fair share of representation when it comes to this. People who shouldn't have the excuse of lacking experience!

Sorba played as well as I have seen him yesterday, yes a couple of awful crosses, but he took his man on more than normal, delivered an assist &, for once, he attacked the far post & got his reward. Long may it continue.

Sorba hasn't forgiven or forgotten, that's clear enough..his cupped ears to town fans or the arm are clear signs of his disconnect. However if he keeps putting in performaces like yesterday nobody will be having a go at him for fear of a smack round the back of the head from a fellow Town fan, hopefully.

Given how he's been treated by the fan base I don't blame him for the disconnect.
None of our players were born when I attended my first match but if it was directed at me I'd cut all ties and never forgive.
Only a minority? Sure. But a very vocal one that the majority didn't do enough to silence. And he does acknowledge (ish) that some of the criticism of him is positive.
Last year's campaign against him (understandably) got to him. He's playing well but that's no thanks to the fan base picking him back up. Cutting out all the noise - good and bad - is the only way I can see for him to continue.

I got the impression he's unable to separate the tiny minority of loons from the rest of the fan base, the vast majority of whom are very supportive of him. That's a shame tbh, hope he can get his head around it one day. However he's dealing with it seems to be working. Just goes to show the damage these idiots can do to a player.
