The only frustration for me with ST is not his attitude, it's his inability to beat a man when running at him with the ball. He lacks a trick in one v one situations - if he had this he'd be unplayable. In some situations but is alright at it such as out on the wings or when it's only one player but any more and he's not getting past them

There was a breakaway in the first half on Saturday, he was one v one and all he could do was run in a straight line. No attempt to cut back outside, no step overs, no plan other than pace. I think he's great but if he could that to his game he'd be superb. He knows it too - he rarely has a defender who faces up to him and he decides to take them on

Funny how people see things because I actually think he's really improved his dribbing and is far more of a threat in open play now.
Playing down the middle or from the left, he actually runs right at players and can go either way - he can square a defender up now and looks threatening. In previous seasons on the right he's run down blind alleys and has been easy for a full back to jockey and close down because he's alway gone down the right hand side.
At a guess I'd say his stats for 'completed dribbles' or whatever they call it is significantly higher this season than ever before.
The breakaway on Saturday he'd have been better playing in Kasumu, whose run and accompanying defender was blocking the space to go to the right of his centre half, so to take it on he almost had to go on his left and his move was a bit predictable. I think he was also up against Rodon/Ampadu, so a really good centre half for this level.
He needs to work on being able to finish when he gets half a yard, on either foot, because then he'd be a premier league quality attacker. Not obviously for a top team, but he could do what someone like Dwight Gayle does. Hopefully helping to take us up there.

Somehow, slaphead Page has managed to not include him in the Wales squad for their upcoming games, yet he's picked a couple of League 1 players and some that are injured.

He can concentrate on continuing to play well for his club then. For me, that's when his club form dropped off, when he was involved with the Wales national squad.

Quite bizarre that they can ignore a player who creates the most chances in the Championship. However, I'm not sure how Sorba fits into a wing-back system especially at international level, unless you play 3-4-3. He's not good enough defensively to play as the wing-back. But it's weird that Page has completely ignored him, so that he doesn't even have the option to bring him off the bench.

A Boro mate of mine said a few weeks ago there’s a rumour up there that Thomas has agreed to join them.
Would imagine he’ll get a fair few rumours and hopefully it means we can get a good price.
No idea in todays market but we asking for north of £5m. Hopefully a lot more.

If true will put the fuel in his personal plated range rover for him, thinks he's something he definitely isn't.

I pass through Derby on the way to work every Sunday night, more than happy to drop him off for free if he’s reading.

The level of disrespect shown towards him is embarrassing. Would say he's more embarrassing, hes the stereotype modern day footie player that shows what the game has sadly become, ok so he is good at dead ball situations, doesn't make him a superstar, he is a division 3 footballer until someone takes a punt on him!!, his attitude is horrendous, hope he changes it wherever he is employed.

He is one of those that at work, always looks busy but when you look at what they do its not very much. On the football pitch , when does he actually run with it ? Rarely , yet he crosses to non one often and tracking back? when he does he does the most pathetic atempt at it, he tracks back and points at the man he has left. But people are easily fooled it seems by sorba's fooling hat.

There is zero benefit trying to name the slackers in the squad. Especially as we no doubt want to sell them.
Delano is a different matter. A bizarre signing when you consider Cartwright’s big fuss of “keeping the bad ones out”
Hopefully let the club move them on.
