Great read that. Poor old DM really is on a hiding to nothing following Warnock. Not his fault and need to get behind him. Hard not to see his dismissal as a mis-step at this point in time though. Time will tell and I hope I’m wrong. Warnock really got me enjoying football again and went a long way to moving on from the play-off final robbery. I miss him!!!

Yeah his dismissal still stings I don't like it, I haven't been able to put it behind me completely and move on just yet like a few have. Don't like how or when it was done but I hope the Town suits have seen something a lot of us haven't and we look back on it as a genius move.

Really good read indeed - It’s just so Sir Neil Warnock ! I see he takes in the delights of a tranquil and idyllic retirement (well the greatest escape with HTAFC apart)... Nice to see he loved the geese 🦆 flying to the island - Well we have plenty here arriving in their tens of thousands to The Whisky Isle just now for their winter roost if ya fancy a visit again* Neil and if you like a dram of malt whisky there’s 30 unopened bottles in The Huddy House (ma one) if you ever fancy a wee visit whisky afternoon or evening ! 🥃 🥃 * A lad I know Dean (Norwich fan) has told me several times that Mr Warnock walked into ma nearest pub (The Lochindaal Hotel) when he was in one day - I’m gutted they I missed him as I’d have invited him down to watch a VHS video over a malt if he so desired ! No footy Saturday today Grrrrrrrrrrrr - So just waiting on ma best buddy Ronnie (whose seen Town live twice now) popping up and we are gonna crack a bottle of whisky among a few cans of lager to celebrate the birth of his latest grandchild - A wee girl (Grace) then head up to Lochindaal for the last hour - (in Huddersfield Town attire of course) - before his last bus at 5.30pm ! (The last bus at 5.30pm eh - Ah the joys of Living on an island) !!! 😊

Hoping there's a hidden clause in his contract that brings him back before Christmas. We can but dream.

At 6pm ma buddy Ronnie phoned to say that he had bad news and Dean had chosen to depart our world by way of a sadly fatal hanging. He had been in on the bus with us on the Saturday of The Sheffield Wednesday Match And was in great form talking football as usual and wondering how Norwich and his Scottish team Hearts would fare so to hear this on Tuesday was a helluva shock... Originally from England he’d been in The Whisky Isle for many years and would be around 60 years old and fitted in well in the Portnahaven community where he stayed for many years... Most Saturday’s he was on the bus (with me) from ma road end to the next stop where he got his baccy’ booze and provisions and went to my local bar till the last bus and it’ll be a shock not to get that wee blether about Norwich and HTAFC and not have him ever ask again “What Huddy top have you got on today” (I usually Board the bus with a club presentation jacket zipper on) RIP Dean Simmonds - A fine lad and a fine Norwich City fan and supporter of Heart of Midlothian in Bonnie Scotland... 🥃 ⚽️ 🍺

Thank You all for your lovely comments and condolences for Dean - That’s DATM at its very finest indeed...
Unless it involved beating a relegation / promotion rival I normally wouldn’t look to much into Norwich City results but I hope for Dean this once that they win today -
That’s The Diet Irn Brewery in The Diet Irn Brew bottle and ready for the bus in an hours time...
Will have a good few swings outta it with Ronnie on the way to the best footy bar in his memory ! 🥃 ⚽️

Rumoured to be taking over at QPR. That's them safe then, and one less rival for a bottom three spot.

Honest question. If Neil Warnock is such a good manager why did he fail to get Jordan Rhodes playing the way he is at Blackpool? I know it's a division below but still, he's played nearly every minute of every league game since the end of August and scored 9 and got 2 assists.
I know this will seem like blasphemey to many on here but Danny Ward, last season under Warnock, scored 2 and got 2 assists in more games than Rhodes has played at Blackpool. So how much potential damage did Warnock playing his favourite son over someone who looks to be a better striker cause us? Also what part of our current problem is Warnock insisting Ward got a new contract whilst shipping Rhodes out?
As Monty Python would say 'He's not the mesiah'.
