Except that Bellingham's name is pronounced differently to the German word for Jew. He's been living and working there for a year so I'm sure they'll have got used to it.

Not really into England in terms of international games, but I find their style so disappointing. Such great attackers and they just play Carlos ball. The other big nations I feel would be going to kill an average team. Although if you listen to bbc half time, they played like prime Brazil.

Bellingham outstanding, but for all the possession not enough cutting edge. Foden and Kane have been isolated and haven’t quick clicked. Saka the best outlet. I’m not going to over-egg the performance though. Much more to come, or so it should be hoped. One chance only, well taken.

We got a goal up..pretty much standard fare after that for Southgates England teams. 3 chances to break, 3 backward passes.
Its about winning for England, a couple of teams here at least want to win by a few.
The danger to England is England in this game.

3 or 4 very good individual performances getting Southgate off the hook for his tactics and selection. Foden and Kane played in such a way that it makes them look ordinary. Lucky it’s only Serbia.
