An alternative view of things, had we won it, would the media have started to tip the crowns off their heads less than a week down the line?
Disappointed that we didn’t win, but a part of me is glad that the media frenzy calms down v quickly when we do lose (in a Final).

Losing in a final is never as bad, part of the joy of winning games in the World Cup and euros is that the summer adventure and days / nights out socialising continue . At least losing in the final doesn’t effect this. Love to win one in my lifetime but strangely not too emotionally gutted and I went to Germany for a fair bit of this tournament, my passion for England is high.
