Was hoping for a deadline day surprise but we haven’t even had a hint of a signing from a creditable source, reality is after Kev paid out x 4 contracts with nearly 3 years left on them it was always a big ask.

Huddersfield Town have agreed a fee of £300k for Cambridge United full back Liam Bennett.
The defender is keen to test himself at the Championship level and is set to sign a contract to the end of the 25/26 season. Club have an option for an extra year.

I was hoping for championship ready signings but we will have to hope that what we have signed are not another set of players that need a season to get up to speed. |

My days as a transfer punter have been curtailed.
The inside knowledge I received that Town were going to sign Josh Earl from Fleetwood proved ill-founded.
He's joined Barnsley.
I'll keep moaning about everyone else's rumours.
