Given inflation and the rising costs I don't understand how fans can begrudge the club raising prices. The club has increased costs as do the rest of us. Because the product on offer is fucking crap. How anyone can justify them raising the prices is beyond me.

I’m at that point again where I would take a heavy defeat.
I said the same with Fotheringham, I think the most condescending poster on here took umbrage to it… but I was proven correct.
Genuinely believe that if you multiplied the IQs of Fotheringham and Moore you wouldn’t get it into Mensa, my 4 year old has a better vocabulary than Moore and I am being serious, she would likely do a better job too.

I'm going for 22% possession and one shot on target. Final score 0-3
FFS bring back Neil before he goes to Plymouth!

I can't think of any other manager I've ever heard who sounded/sounds as thick and incoherent as Moore. He's a step down from Fotheringham, which is an absolutely damning indictment. In fact, Fotheringham is the second thickest/incoherent manager I've ever heard. How on earth have they both ended up at our club, and within a year of each other? Being an at least semi-intelligent human being is a prerequisite for being a football manager, surely? That both were deemed appointable following interviews by those in charge of a professional club speaks volumes.......

Whilst that is a consideration, in my opinion, it would be zbsolute commercial suicide to hike seson ticket prices dramatically without serious investment in January and the summer.

I hope we win because we’re in serious trouble if we can’t take a few points at home from the next three games. That said, we have a team who can’t string two passes together and a manager who can’t string two sentences together, so I don’t hold out too much hope. Merry fucking Christmas!

Good job some of these supporters weren’t supporting in the 70s when we slumped into the 4 th division, those were dark days . I know what you mean, it was horrible. However, back then I was a young pup & nothing was going to stop me watching my beloved Town, watched at many a ground mid-winter in a sleeveless t-shirt. These days, time is catching up with me & it's hard enough going to home games, wrapped up & with a flask full of dark rum & hot Ribena.

It’s weird though as they were some of the best times (for me) following my beloved team ( beloved spellchecked itself and suggested beleaguered 😊). I loved those days and the following years up and down through the leagues with various managers and chairmen. Excellent away days too and all pre internet which probably helped. I guess it can all be explained as an ‘age thing’. Take care y’all and Merry Christmas!! Keep smiling.

Yes we had some bad times in the 70s but at least there was some effort, misguided perhaps but was evident. Sadly lacking now.

Apparently I can share a ticket through the website for one game? Can’t help with the taxi money or beer tokens though 😅

Feeling spaced out with a severe chest and ear infection (spent 8 hours at Epsom A&E yesterday) but I still wish I could get to Town tomorrow. No matter what the result or performance tomorrow I feel we’re stuck with DM now. He’ll get the January window.

Totally agree, there seemed to a be a togetherness with the fans, especially the ones who went away, some top away days in the 70/80s, the fans seemed far more tolerant of what we had, imo.

Hope the lads can get a much needed 3 points tomorrow to make you feel abit better anyway.

We have a “hard core” of supporters though. No matter what’s happening I reckon there at least 20 people I sit near to, who are there at every game. Been like this for at least 20 years. Weird, but despite the problems, I haven’t even considered not going tomorrow.

At some point things will turn for the better and I’d want to be there to see it. Caveat - “At some point” could be anytime but I fear it won’t be soon.

It’ll be a first Boxing Day game for me in a good while.
I doubt we’ll be served a 6-3 vs Bradford C goalfest though…

I know but it has actually got to the point where there are family things on that would give me more enjoyment. I'm going tomorrow in hope that over the last few days we have remembered how to attack

Yes we had some bad times in the 70s but at least there was some effort, misguided perhaps but was evident. Sadly lacking now. Too right, went to nearly every home game & plenty away all through the 70's which started with Greaves & ended with Buxton, football was always there in some form even if results weren't & none of the backs to wall with no intent DM dross......OK the crowds stayed home back then too, but mainly because of the poor results, DM's defensive/no attack style is turning 1000's away.
