Deal completed big statement of intent is this one. It initially looks good but he is also very unproven in the Championship. Praying it works out. finding a striker in January that another club would let go for the right price is difficult, we would be looking at prem loans or something like this deal all have risks but so far this sounds like just what we need. There will be more incomings also in next few weeks.

Excited by this one which normally ends up leaving me disappointed.
Fingers crossed it doesn’t.

He is defo coming. Can't say how I know because it's quite embarrassing for the club but it's defo a done deal. You were at his medical as well along with castlehillterrier?

Really don't get the dogs at castlehill. His posting also is nothing like Htafc35. Think for some it's just jealousy that they don't get any info.

It's the fact that if you look at his posting history he gives the impression of someone who is trying to convince people he is itk without actually saying as much. He's got plenty on here fooled so must be quite good at it I guess. He won't reveal anything that isn't guess work or rumour and nothing concrete.

If this is done I don't think you could have expected much more from the first 5 days of January - two on paper very good signings plus Spencer back. We also I guess have the option to bring Rhodes back if we want as we do more strikers. With luck Rhodes won't be needed as we'll sign another striker
Still a lot of work but we're looking more competitive in terms of options - two or three more and we'll have had a good window

Not looked at his highlights reel, just saw that goal where he ran in behind and did the stepover onto his left foot to put it in the corner. I doubt he'd be able to score that in the championship - would've been played offside or shot blocked. He seems to have the right instincts, it's whether he can adapt to a higher calibre of opponent. Had a look at the Brighton page for him yesterday, which bizarrely seems to be still live. Scored 4 in 8 for one of their under age teams (u21s?) including a couple against Spurs and signed for them on the back of knocking out Real Sociedad in the Spanish Cup. www.brightonandhovealbion.com/teams/u21s-team/players/49193/bojan-radulovic I also had a look at Alfredo Morelos' stats just now as he played for the same Finnish club. Just for comparison, doesn't mean a lot, but he appeared to score 27 in 42 games, with Radulovic scoring 26 in 47 games. We're rumoured to be paying £600k to £1.2m - wonder what that would buy us in terms of a striker in the English leagues?

Looks like his last game was on the 14th December in the Europa conference so shouldn't take too long to get his match sharpness back.

Not seen the young Chelsea lad play but on the whole young lads from Chelsea tend to have something about them. This striker seems promising, looking at his stats he seems a clever pick.

Exiting signing and looks good on paper! Well done all.. really hope we don't try to ease him in - we haven't got games/time to waste
Get these two new lads in the starting 11; they're professional footballers and we lack quality/numbers
..
Pleasantly surprised that business has been done early

I’ve never seen this guy or the Chelsea lad play. I’ve zero idea or clue if they are good signings or not.

Total Football Analysis did a reasonable scouting analysis of him in their November 2023 edition. It's free to download, but be warned the total file is 154MB (Radulovic article is on page 109-133) totalfootballanalysis.com/app_download/TFA_Scouted_November_2023.pdfI have to admit, despite his Conference League participation, I'd personally been looking at this potential signing as the latest in a string of cheap punts on strikers. Having read this I'm a bit more enthusiastic. In a nutshell: Instinctive poacher, good movement, decent pace, willing presser, happy to track back and link up play. Similar player profiles (according to their "xGOLD" data modelling): Ollie Watkins, Sebastien Haller. Expected transfer value €1.2m. Great find & an interesting read. Must admit my first impression was somewhere between open minded and pessimistic. Highlights videos showed me someone who reminded me of Kian Harratt. We've already got one of those. Stats showed someone scoring goals, but at a level similar to Lg2. Harratt would do well if he went to Lg2 now. Also, that BR failed to make much impact prior to joining HJK. Brighton saw fit to sign him, and they've got a great scouting network? Yes, they have - but scouting is not just about finding players who are good, or even players who have potential to improve - but also players who will suit your playing style (pump a load of high crosses into Lionel Messi & he'll look shite). Also worth noting that BHA got rid, although that's perhaps unfair. Optimistically, you could point to his age & say maybe he's improved since then. Optimistically, he looks to be good enough for a team at this level. Pessimistically, he doesn't look a good fit for our playing style: "Assessing teams by their playing style and finding a suitable match for Radulovic: Teams that average a high number of shots and touches inside the penalty area per 90 minutes"Unless we're planning to radically change our approach and playing style, I can see him being even more isolated up front than Danny Ward tends to be when fit. Basing this on their games against us this season but maybe he'd be a hit somewhere like Stoke or Sunderland? Of course, that then puts the question back to who we should go for instead. And, well... I have no idea. Nobody else on that article seemed a good fit for us either.

If in fact he has signed has it been in time to play in cup Probs pointless to play a guy that hasn't played for about a month and let him be involved in an arseholing isolated up top anyway

It's just over 3 weeks since his last game so a little tune up before the Plymouth game should do him some good.

The Leicester game I think we can take out.but I’d imagine(I haven’t looked)that in the Blackburn and boro games we probably did have more touches inside the box per 90 and also probably more shots. That’s not to say those two games weren’t an anomaly because let’s face it,so far, they are. But it could also be the way we’re heading. That’s what I’m hoping anyway
