Wouldn't underestimate Plymouth. New manager coming in and they fight for every point. Many were expecting them to be adrift at the bottom of the table by now but they are six points above drop zone. They may well avoid the drop if they can keep their squad fit. Went to the away fixture at start of season and it was a wake up call for Town.

We'll get a result....W, D or L. I wonder what the odds are?

My predicted line-up:
Nicholls
Spencer Lees Helik REG Jackson
Rudoni Hogg Matos
Radulovic Sorba
Feels strange to say this is a must-win at this stage of the season, but it certainly feels like one. That said, I think the improvement over the last few games will continue and we'll win a close game.

They've just lost two key players over the last week with 12 goals and 11 assists between them. That's not going to be easy to replace this window.

Jesus Plymouth must be viewed by many as a shit team in this league if most think we will beat them. Could this be big Daz’s 4 victory at 21 attempts.

I reckon either a defeat here or a draw followed by a defeat against Blackburn will mean Darren saying 'toodle pip'. The owner seems to have read the room. Although it's unlikely he reads the club forums, he'll probably have someone else doing it for him and will know how the majority of us are feeling.

It’s a massive game.
Plymouth are a good side but I’d imagine the hierarchy will be demanding a result here.

True - but they’ll see a toxic atmosphere first hand for the first time if another poor performance is put in Don’t think we will though. After Blackburn/Boro I feel we’ve turned a corner (albeit the slightest of curves). Really like the look of this Chelsea lad and hopefully we can see another addition before Saturday.

I would think the very last thing the owner would want is relegation and the next 4 games are crucial to that. You have to think were we to pick up a paltry 4/5 points from a possible 12 on offer, given the quality of the opposition, and it would be the end of the road for DM as Town manager. Letting things drift beyond then and we are going down. FWIW, I do think we’ve been ok 2 out of the last 3 league games but we have to continue that form into the next 4 to give ourselves a chance.

Championship is an unpredictable league as we all know but statistically Plymouth have the worst away record in the league, yet to win a single game. With the new signings and a few “better” performances, it’s one we should be fancying ourselves

Must win game this - along with Wednesday at home . Think we should go attacking from the off as Plymouth concede a lot as well as scoring loads too .
Don’t like the thought of 5 at the back but needs must due to lack of pace in cbs and experience in full backs .
Nichols
Kasumu lees Helik REG Spencer
Hogg Matos Rudoni
Thomas Bojan
Hopeful of a different cb in for Reg this week and accept its harsh on Jackson but Kasumu a cracking wing back and Spencer primarily played on left for Motherwell .
Also hopeful of another striker this week !

There's not a chance in hell he'd leave anyone incompetent in charge of his other companies so what's the difference? Obviously his intention will be to stick with his man but when it becomes obvious he's taking us down I expect him to act.

You may call Moore “incompetent” but that’s your opinion and fortunately in this case your opinion doesn’t matter or count .With some new players I think Moore will be fine, and yes, that’s my opinion.

Jesus Plymouth must be viewed by many as a shit team in this league if most think we will beat them. Could this be big Daz’s 4 victory at 21 attempts. I think it's probably largely down to an improvement in morale stemming from the additions of Matos and Radulovic, and (to a lesser extent) an encouraging performance from Brodie Spencer on his return from loan. If Spencer had embarrassed himself and we'd not signed anyone I expect the predictions of a loss would be much higher. Personally I've gone for a draw.

I would agree totally with this. This, as you might realise from my username, is the game that divides my loyalties. I grew up as an Argyle fan and then when I moved to Holmfirth and had children got lured into the ways of Huddersfield Town. Now had a Town season ticket since 2016 with an ever growing band of kids and their friends! Anyway - Argyle will not be a walkover - they are fighters and play some lovely stuff at times. However teams that get in their faces do well, they are defensively frail at times and will miss the two lads who have been recalled by their clubs, especially Azaz this season. They should also bring a decent number of fans - they have a brilliant away support and when my daughter was buying her away ticket there were relatively few left! Can't decide whether or not I will enjoy this game or not!

Maybe there’s no ‘luv’, just a stark realisation that bumping Mgrs every 5 mins isn’t the formula to long term success. Darren may well be one of those frogs we’ve had to kiss and may move on eventually, but I suspect the mgmt team are after a period of stability right now.
