The sooner this guy is off this fans board the better. To those fans that say isn’t it great we have this connection to the club that other clubs don’t etc etc. Do you not think there is a reason why no other clubs have this? It’s “tinpot” amateur and quite frankly ridiculous for a team that has been playing in the one of the biggest leagues in the world (excluding the obvious) I believe. It’s the sort of thing you would expect at a second rate club in a non footballing country…. Sac republic springs to mind! This club needs a shake from top to bottom. This is nonsense. We don’t want someone on here who knows what’s what? He’s the owner’s mate, nothing else. Get rid of that Maynard while we are at it. He’s defo made this forum a worse place over the years. |

The "ruination" started well before the last 12m. Some shocking decisions in the last yr but the relegation issues have been around way longer Don't talk shite 2 years ago next month we were in a playoff final contesting promotion to the Premier league Change the fucking record!!!! Nagle and his position of strength changes/continuity are to blame NO ONE ELSE 2 years next month is more than the last 12 months.... The failure to back Carlos was the beginning of the ruination. |

They have no idea how much football means to us. No idea. It ruins my weekend when we loose. To now be in league 1…..I’m just lost for words I really am. Absolutley gutted at the state of my club. I cannot relate to this. Have you nothing else which gives you pleasure in life? Loved ones? Personal beliefs and ambitions? Your whole weekend is ruined by something over which you have no control? Really? I think on today of all days, this isn’t helpful. People are hurting, club staff will be worried about their futures potentially. Some people do have Town as a passion even if it doesn’t ruffle your own particular feathers too much. |

Just a thought folks. Dave C has done nothing wrong as far as I can see, so the vitriol aimed at him looks unfair. We are all feeling levels of upset, anger, annoyance, frustration, whatever you wish to call it but this chap isn’t the one hiring and firing managers, signing players or pulling on the kit and performing like a bag of spanners.
I would suggest the ‘HTAFC Advisor’ could be taken with a large spoon of salt. He’s interacted well with us on here, but on a day like today he is the channel for the abuse. Just remember this is a human being and if he retaliates some of you will cry foul.
It’s going to be a long painful Summer for all of us. Let’s try keep some respect where we can.

Really? These days I have bigger fish to fry. Bigger problems to worry about. Far worse things than my club getting relegated are just on the horizon and right now (yes, even today!) they're occupying my thoughts far more than thinking how shit it will be to see HTFC get bummed in the gob by Shrewsbury in a few months. But I totally relate to this. Football used to be all-encompassing for me. Great results/performances would set me up for the week. Shit ones would put me in a foul mood. Having the fortunes of your football club as the primary driver of your mood is absolutely something I can relate to. And for many people - today is shit. Even devastating. I'm not sure what's gained by pushing the "it's only a game" narrative. |

To me it is amateurish and there is a reason why no other club (very few) has it. I believe there have been many poor/amateurish things done by this club both on and off the field and when put all together have ended up in one large problem. Normally a big problem is made up of a lot of little ones. Comprende ? |

Was supposed to be internal and to be honest, any championship side will have an x year plan to get promoted. Shit start don’t get me wrong, but it’s not like that’s it for Kev. 1 year into probably a decade of ownership, plenty of time to turn it around and be successful. |

I think that post was indicative of the culture difference across the pond. Across social media, there's all manner of pissed off posts. The US culture is more optimistic than ours. What he's saying is "this is a setback, but we redouble our efforts to put it right". There was a post a few weeks ago (which Dave Hartrick referenced in the WAT podcast) which was shite. Totally unnecessary and showed his understanding of the British football fan's mentality had a way to go. But this? I think people are lashing out for the sake of it. I find people's responses to it bother me far more than what DC has said. |
