Would seem a decent fit for our squad on the face of it.high pressing high pace counter attacking. Think I read that’s how he played with his Zurich title winning side,low possession but effective quick attacks. |

Seeing a lot that want Worthy to have it until the end of the season however, if it’s only until the end of the season I’d rather someone new comes in and Worthy go back to what he was doing. That would mean we’re recruiting again in the summer for a new manager and the academy project would stall. If Worthy’s going to have it, give him a 2 and a half year deal and give him the tools to move the club forward and go get someone new for the academy manager role. Would much rather that than messing about again getting someone else in the summer. why not just leave it be, im sure Jon will be on some kind of bonus scheme to ensure his efforts don't go unrewarded. Let him carry on as interim, change nothing, and give the board more time to scrutinise possibles and find the right man. I'm sure better managers will be available later on than are available right now for a multitude of reasons. |
