Great first half. We look like a proper Championship team. Creating and taking chances, clean sheet so far, can't ask any more than that.

I know we might/will still lose this - but the difference between the team and under Darren Moore is unbelievable. Confidence is back and we look a totally different side again. Just shows what a shocker Darren Moore had, sucking the life out of the players, club and fans in equal measure. You'll still get folk saying it wasn't his fault. 'Best available man for the job'. Everyone else got the blame aside from Moore. |

We need to keep playing like this. Winning the ball up the pitch because S’hampton aren’t used to it and can’t deal with it…
Start playing defensive and these will get back in the game.

Brilliant first half, Sorba has been fantastic. Southampton looked like thought they could just turn up and they would win the game, but we have been at them from the opening minute, closing down, forcing them into mistakes, not allowing them to play. Its been the absolute polar opposite to what we have had to watch under Moore. We would have set up and defended for 45 minutes. Look at the difference when you have a positive mindset. Got to keep going second half. Dont give them anything to encourage them and certainly dont give this ref an opportunity, because Southampton are reffing this game for him.

Absolutely superb 1st half. Sorba has been phenomenal. Even if we lose from here, surely Worthy is getting job till end of the season now? Hopefully not, because we'll only ruin him. |

Give Worthington the job until at least the end of the season. He's getting the best out of these players. We know that others cannot.

Would much rather a new manager come in during the Summer to have a pre season and put their stamp on the team during a transfer window. Worthy knows these players, seemingly knows how to get the best out of them and they are thriving. Appreciate it’s early days. |

Well well well…
That is the most enjoyable first half I’ve seen in a long time. Pressing high, pace, energy and getting players forward. Moore must be bloody mental having these playing such negative shite all season. Let the shackles off and these lads can play a bit.
A tough second half to follow, I’m sure, but really cannot ask any more of the players or management.
Oddly, if Cooper or Duff or Bianco had been appointed earlier this week and this was their first performance we’d all be thinking what a great appointment it had been.
If Worthy can keep these lads playing like this then I would very quickly come around to the idea of him keeping the job until the summer.

How have we lined up?? Back 4 or wing backs?? 🍻 Back 5- Kas Pearson Lees Yuta Spencer (right to left). All of them bar Lees get really high up the pitch and involved with attacks. Hogg and Matos in the middle. Rudoni and Thomas on the wings but getting involved all over the shop. Koroma up front doing an excellent hold up job and really good dummies for both goals |
