A very good strike. Tony Carss-esque A great finish it was, but Town had every man (& his dog) back for corner, Saints had 2 players waiting unmarked on the edge of the box to fire it back in, also no one on the post where Healy was a week earlier to head away........Personally I don't agree with packing the box for corners. This is noticeable with Town. You can sort of understand it, but to not even give their defenders something to think about by leaving a man up the pitch is inexcusable for me. It generally takes 2 of their players out of the equation at corners.

Why did Glennon criticise Rudoni at every opportunity and Chicken mark him 8/10.
Wiles plays well previous game but does not start, I don’t get it.

Did they see the Boro winner & know that even though every Town shirt is in & around the penalty area not everyone is marking or doing 'a job'. When I played you had a man making sure every player had a reason to be back defending or he told you to get out your not needed....Probably too simple for the UEFA badge teachers, but Buxton always said 'keep it simple' & he would likely say 'too many cooks', which I agree.

Regarding a player on the edge of the box being unmarked players don’t always mark players, they will be placed to stop a run or backup a defender in case the attacker gets past them. If it was that easy no team would score from set pieces.

Last time I went it was our last game in the PL - Pritchard scored the equaliser! We were meant to get a complimentary away shirt, they'd been spread out on seats in the away end but they'd all been hoovered up before most of the fans got there. images.app.goo.gl/t97mwC23PBmC5EPJABefore majority got there, you say? I was there and would say majority were wearing the free shirt. Fair dos. I was there too, wearing the yellow one I'd bought previously in the club shop. There were none left on the seats around us, at the start of the warm up, but the three people in front of us had three each and trying to work out how much they could get for them on ebay.
