I sometime wonder if some of these sick players dont want to play especially if they know they are out the door at the end of the season Very easy money when doing nothing at all to earn it and something needs to change
Whilst sometimes I'd generally agree this is a player that has absolutely reason to not want to play, especially with Helik out it's a massive opportunity to build on a decent performance last week. Me calling in sick and not well enough to sit at a computer for 8 hours is a bit different to someone not being well enough to compete physically for 90 minutes against one of the best sides in the league. It's different levels. I've not idea what the illness is but if it's something (migraine, throwing up) that could distract him enough for just a few seconds that means he switches off and a player can run off him and get the opening goal then it's not worth the risk. |

We're taking the game to them and being brave. They have a lot of quality but some of our movements and positional play have been quite inventive so far, and the pressing is really good. Interested to see how we go.

What is this ill shit? Every week someone's ill. Why are all our players out for months and months? ill or injured. Does the club have a sports scientist/nutritionist? Where we can start providing the tools to strengthen their immune system? Injury wise. I don't recall a season this bad for injuries. It all stems from a poor pre season that, playing against pub teams also. I'm sure Cornwall was fun though... Aside from the injuries we seem to have someone ill on match days this season. A lot more than I can ever remember. |
