I'm fuming, more with the performance than anything but the one change to the team absolutely buggered the whole dynamic of the team. He's been a good servant to Town has Hogg but he should NOT be starting games at 35 at this level. Him and Matos are stood on the bloody half way line most of the 1st half.
Much improved when Kasumu came on who should have been starting anyway, much more energy and threat but all in all we were terrible in possession, unable to retain possession and carried absolutely no threat from ghe umpteen corners, worst of all we've plunged ourselves back into the relegation fight.

Very frustrating, when a point would have been as valuable as it would have been, you need professionals to be seeing the game out. First half poor, better second half but for all our intent still weren't troubling them anywhere near enough. They did defend well though. I'd have taken 3 points from the last two games, but a bit of a sickener today. Ref was poor, didn't have control of the game and should have been clamping down on their time wasting on the first half. Be good to get a new coach in with some new ideas. Whatever Jon W said to them at half time worked. Del... what a second half. They marked Sorba out of the game first half but couldn't cope with him second. Balker man of the match. Just what we need next season. I hope we've agreed a fee for him. Pearson also very good again as were a number of players today. That's the last two Saturdays where the pundits said that we deserved a draw. |

I though Kasumu did little. The impact was from Burgzorg and Diarra speeding us up and adding directness. I would have taken Hogg off earlier for sure as he had a poor game, but Koroma and Wiles were worse IMO. |

So poor to switch off like that have fought all game to get level. However we look miles better than a few weeks ago, Balker looks superb. His recovery pace allowed us to camp in their half in the second.

They bullied the ref from the beginning of the game. Time wasting, cheating for fouls, and she fell for it all game. The most ridiculous one was when she booked Thomas for pointing out that the player wasn't 10 metres away from the corner. She warned the goalie more than once for time wasting but no yellow card and no extra time added on Allsop wasted at least 5 minutes alone |

We really don’t help ourselves though, Matos and Hogg together is a terrible idea unless we’re playing a Man City. We constantly won the ball back first half and had no idea what to do with it. We are desperate for a creative midfielder, our most likliest Wiles was for some bizarre reason up front with Koroma?
Better after the break and we probably deserved something, but why on earth didn’t we change it after they scored instead of waiting until 50mins?
Such a disappointing afternoon, hopefully André can see the bleeding obvious.

Frustrating. However I still felt in defeat that we more than matched a decent side. We are doing a lot right and we were probably a Michel Helik away from 10 points out of the last 12 rather than just the 6.
Its a nervy time now as previously I would have said that it didn't matter who the new manager was, performances couldn't have been much worse. Now we've set a standard and you just hope the new man and new ideas supplement the progress rather than stifle it.

Rudoni in the middle and Sorba on the right. Why is that so hard. Put on 2 strikers and your best crosser is out of position. Rudoni is miles more effective in the middle. At HT I said take Wiles and Hogg off, Rudi into the middle, Sorba and JK wide with Del and Bojan to top. |

Just seen their second goal. Why is Rudoni the one trying to pick up their biggest aerial threat. So poor all round to not sort that out better prior to the ball coming in

No bad language and no dissent shown. Therefore it had to be for not taking the corner quickly enough, otherwise known as time wasting. She booked us for time wasting and none of theirs. Woman ref cost us a point today. The free kick from half way line what set them on to score wasn’t a free kick. She’d have been better in the canteen No need for the sexism there at all. Both teams had the same ref to deal with. Hull seemingly played the ref better. I think the canteen reference was a joke but it’s obviously not allowed in this shit world we now have to live in. The ref was female The ref was shit The ref is not fit to referee at this level |

Gutted we didn’t hold on,
We are still crying out for a pure finisher
Sorba had a brilliant second half
Delano played great aswell
Hogg gives the ball away so much it’s unreal, but his work ethic is second to none
Would like to see kasumu start next game with matos
Could do with heeley back cos ward off the bench isn’t good enough

Loss for me this one. Hull are a better team than Sunderland and have had an extra day off. I think wednesday will have taken a lot out of the legs. When they beat the press Philogene, Carvalho and Zaroury will.be incredibly dangerous. 4-2 to them So I was right but also totally wrong. Thought they'd play us off the park but I'd argue we were the better team. They looked very good moving the ball but we totally nullified them. Having said that, Hogg, Lees and RB Pearson shouldn't be anywhere near this side next season. Hogg is now a hinderance to the way we want to play and it's quite sad to see him look so out of place. Speaking of out of place, Wiles is out of place being a professional footballer. How can anyone be so slow and still do what he does for a living. Negativity over, another great performance and we deserved something. That's three games in a row against top 8 teams and we've not looked out of place. Worthington has done a wonderful job of showing the players what they are capable. Despite the loss things are looking up. Utt. |
