It was always going to be the case yesterday in that if Town lost the ref would get some blame for it, unfortunate but its a fact, all season long we get refs who make bad decisions, she made a few yasterday but which ref dosnt, i cant think of any. Every time we lose it's because of the ref. Unless the manager is unpopular, then it's because of the manager. We got relegated because of refs, we didn't get promoted because of refs. Agree, totally. I cba but sure someone can link to the Hull fans combing over the performance of the ref despite their 3 points..

Wonder if you'll incur his wrath and be accused of being antagonistic as well? ๐

Promoted to PL refs in 2021 at age 37, which means he had 8 years at most (5 years left) in the top tier unless he fucks up. It must be a very short shelf life for normal refs who are not fast-tracked. He'd only been in English football for 2 seasons before they put him in the PL, just seen he's now on FIFA's list, too. WT absolute F !!! Must admit, I was shocked to see him promoted to the Premier League, his referring was very poor. Was further shocked to see him elevated to FIFA status, he was totally shocking, just not good enough, despite which he is now a FIFA Referee! - UTT.

It means fast tracking an official so they can tick a box for the people insistent on being offended by everything Sounds like youโre the one offended, that a woman can be a referee. Yeah but before you know it they'll be taking all our jobs, taking over everything, then there'll be nothing left for us, just women everywhere, millions of em, doing everything

Hulls antics made it a difficult game to referee. Player goes down holding their face or head, then the ref has to stop the game, even if they know full well hes feigning it. Its become a tactic to disrupt the game and Hull were using it from 10 minutes in.
All they need to do is bring in a rule where if the trainer comes on for you, you have 10 minutes on the sideline. 99% of the times the trainer comes on, there bugger all wrong with the player really. It's either nothing at all, or a slight knock. If theres something actually wrong the player will know as soon as he tries to run off.
Other than Sorbas booking, which was absurd, I thought she handled a difficult game ok-ish. We've certainly had a lot worse.

On the game itself, Worthy got his selection wrong and it probably cost us 3 points. I expected to see quite a few changes from last Wednesday. You could tell within 5 minutes of the kick off certain players just werent at the levels of energy they'd been at against Sunderland or anything like it. Koroma, Wiles and Matos in particular. Should have brought Bergzorg and Kasumu on in the first half.

You can't blame the ref for the defending of that last goal. Even the first had chances to clear.

Glad Danny Ward was able to get a run out. Apparently he had a round of golf booked for Sunday and just needed to loosen up a bit.

Even the first had chances to clear. 1st goal Lees was nearest to Greaves, think Balker may have got there, 2nd goal Greaves outjumps Balker initially then moves into the penalty area unmarked to score, Lees possibly wins the aerial battle.......He was very determined Mr Greaves made captain for the day in his 200th appearance.

Aye, second Ward heads it back to them, been better being safe into touch or something, was a soft freekick but they get given.

It was a normal clearance header from Ward where he was stood on the penalty spot & would struggle to reach touch from there......Burgzorg was beaten to the loose ball, we simply nodded off.
