Looks like he comes in strong, not sure about his second and third seasons though.

Not sure how I feel about this? His last job wasn’t great and his win percentages haven’t been great throughout his career. He won the league with Zurich in 2022, but did horrendous with Hoffenheim. What was Wagner's win percentage after 2 seasons in the Premiership?

Just off the beach in Mexico & on the balcony with a cold Dos Equis, what great news following on from last nights win. Never any guarantees in football & I’ve never heard of him but reading up a bit gives me enough confidence to say, on paper, this seems the right man to get us going. Seems very similar to DW, let’s hope he is successful with us.
All the best AB &, yet again, KN has backed up his words as I,m guessing this guy ain’t the cheap option.

Firstly welcome Andre, all the best with taking the reins.
It feels like a progressive appointment, you could say a brave appointment.
The hard work starts now with objective number 1 to build on the momentum JW has started and keep us in the Championship.
Longer term if he can bring us together then that will be a major achievement.
I'm happy to see how things go, but I would say that about every new appointment.

Surely you could use that as a reason to be concerned about any appointment we make though? Obvious to say but we aren't going to appoint anybody who isn't prepared to come to Huddersfield. It sounds like other clubs might have been sniffing around. Maybe he fancied the challenge of managing in England. Maybe he's familiar with Huddersfield from the Wagner period. Yeah course but Huddersfield are only going to have so much pulling power aren’t they? So André, what first attracted you to the billionaire Kevin Nagle?

I know nothing about Andre , except what I have gathered on the forum , I for one am very happy , I have a gut feeling this could be an excellent appointment.
WE will still (no pun intended ) have JW in the background and feel he could be a future manager in a couple of years. Good luck Andre and welcome to the mighty TOWN!

Who knows if he’ll be a success here, we can’t get carried away…
… On a side note which PL ground are you most looking forward to visiting next season?

Hope I’m wrong, but the lads are playing their hearts out for JW, could easily fall flat with a new gaffer with new ideas, with little direct knowledge of the players.

While I’m really hopeful he’ll succeed I fail to understand the excitement over the appointment since while he has had notable successes hasn’t he twice been sacked (or am I missing something?). Which manager that has never been sacked would you have liked? Maybe one of these 9? www.besoccer.com/new/9-managers-that-have-never-been-sacked-557411

The main problem with this appointment is that my FPL team name has been Sir Neil's Army and Darren Moore's Army so far and Andre Breitenreiter's Army will exceed the character limit

Their fans were utter dogshit and exceeded my expectations for shitness. Perhaps Everton if they stay up or just somewhere nearby

Could turn out to be a bold appointment, truth is absolutely none of us know. Will certainly get my backing and I like what I’ve read about him.

Looking at his history, particularly the way his teams seem to play..far more bothered about scoring goals than conceding them..then think its going to be a rollercoaster ride this one.
I dont think it'll be boring anyway!
Good look Andre,,if you get the players putting in the kind of shift Worthy has these last couple of games, then you won't go far wrong.

Prem away days whilst being better than Championship ones don't have many better options. There's only a few local derbies up there and with Bellend Road and Valley Parading fuck all hosting National League games in 2027/28 we'll start having service stops en route to all away days

I have no real idea who he is or how good he is to be honest (despite the stats) but for me it shows ambition from the club to try and change the last few years of stagnation and almost constantly being in a regulation battle (the second season under Carlos excepted). But at least it looks like we are trying to get upwards.

If you watch the Moore Port vale interview its the same boring shite he spouted when he got recruited here, how the fk he got past the interview stage is beyond me. Some people are just not good on air but Moore is a real insomniac killer, 5 mins of him speaking you realise he’s just boring as fuck who mouths platitudes. It begs serious questions about just how savvy the management team are !

I didn't want DM one bit & said he was Lee Clark two right from the start & sadly I was proved correct. I know nothing about our latest appointment, has he been out of work for over a year? Did we need to make the announcement today? Will he stay on if relegated (presume yes)?.....I would have stuck with a guy (JW) who knows the club for now/until safety, I really hope its not another blunder along with many other Town fans.

Pretty pleased with this appointment. The names in the hat were a bit uninspiring and with this guy, looks like we’re punching above our weight. I’m excited to see what he can do.

Surely you're not claiming that as a victory? Only similarity between the two is their ultimate failure and their fondness for draws. For all Clark's faults the style of play under him was the absolute polar opposite of Mooreball. Under Clark scoring fours and fives was a regular occurrence, Moore's Town would struggle to score four against a team of schoolgirls, even if the game went on as long as a cricket test match.

After my initial worries about the recruitment process with the likes of Scott Parker being bandied about, this is as good an appointment as I could have wished for. It's Wagner,Corberan with bells on. Good luck Andre and thank you JW for the last two weeks. Only one worry, no Champions league experience? Surely our target after retaking our Premier League status😁?

Well, that would be a great appointment IMO - just seems a massive statement from Nagle that he really does intend for us to be in the running for promotion again to the PL. Definitive evidence, please. Twitter or other social media are not definitive. Definitive evidence of what? "That would be a great appointment" or "seems like a massive statement from Nagle..."?

Personally, I never thought Moore was the right appointment from the outset and his first press conference made me more convinced he wasn't the right man.
After reading a bit about this guy and seeing his record he sounds like he is a well thought out and credible candidate for us at this time. I hope he comes across well in his presser !
Good luck Andre and welcome.
Something makes me think Nagle has had a far bigger involvement and say in this appointment.
