Strange phenomenon that isn't it, and very fecking annoying! Another weird one is the ex Bristol City keeper Dan Bentley. For some reason always gets called by his full name in commentary rather than just Bentley! There are loads of players who only get referred to by their full name, and never just their surname, it’s a curious thing… Solly March Barry Bannan Nick Pope Reece James Delle Ali Billy Gilmour Dan Burn Oscar Bobb is the latest to be added to that list |
