They’ve conceded 10 goals in 2 games. Goes without saying that we need to be all over them and try to get an early goal.
We need ‘good’ Burgzorg to turn up because he could take them apart. If he puts in a Cardiff type performance it could be a really frustrating afternoon.
Matos and balker need to start.

Think things might turn tomorrow if we dont win. Players have had a bit of a get out of jail free card under Moore in that most of the distain was directed at him.

Not the line up I would go for but for some reason this is what I expect.

My worry is that he is losing pace. That foul against Leeds not only cost us 11 players on the pitch but also Yuta for the season. Headley is the weak link. He just isn’t quite ready yet. Rotherham are bobbins. But after conceding 10 in 2 games I expect them to have worked pretty much exclusively on defending and be solid at the back. To the detriment of their attacking play.
Going forward I expect very little from them, but they'll probably be organised in defence. Plus they have a solid keeper. It won't be a high scoring one.
We need to attack them from the off, but not lose our heads if we struggle to break them down.

Yes. Jackson instead of Spencer. We can afford to give Spencer a rest for this, Jackson gets a run out and seems to offer more goal threat. He can hit it, give him licence to do so.
Hogg's leadership and experience in case the unexpected happens but otherwise it's all on attacking, looking for how to break them down.

Agreed, that pisses me off. I have 0% interest in sitting and listening to a pre match press conference or post match comments that go on for however long. I want to be able to skim through a written article in a couple of minutes tops. Definitely a backward step (more so if you're deaf and so can't listen to what's said) |
