Just taking a look at the fixtures remaining and I really think we will be ok this season, especially when you look at others fixtures for sure we have some massive home games coming up that will define our season. I think the points total to survive could be on the low side around 48points might see you safe this year.
my predictions Coventry H - They are in great form and a decent side, we can also be good at home especially against a team we can break on, really difficult to call and it could easily be a win but I will predict 2-1 defeat Stoke A - Stoke are poor at home and I think we will be up for this one, I would take a point now but lets go beat them win 0-2 Millwall H - I think we will be due a home win and 2 wins on the bounce Town win 3-1 Preston A - we are always poor away at preston 1-0 Bristol City A - Can see us getting a point here 1-1 Swansea H - Again I see a point here 1-1 Brimingham H - Huge huge game and 3 points 2-0 Ipswich A - I can see this been a game where nothing is needed for either team, if we do need something then I think we can get it Ipswich more than likley rest a number of players for the palyoffs 1 point if needed, lose if we are already safe.
Total points 50points and safe Birmingham, QPR A, Preston H, Leicester A, Cardiff H, Coventry H, Rotherham A, HTAFC A, Norwich H. QPR, Birmingham H, Swansea A, Sheff W H, Plymouth A, Hull A, Preston H, Leeds H, Coventry A (they need results from next 4 games final 4 difficult) Sheff Weds, Swansea H, Boro A, QPR A, Norwich H, Stoke H, Blackburn A, West Brom H, Sunderland A (massive games with teams around them fancy them to just survive) Stoke, Hull A, HTAFC H, West Brom H, Swansea A, Sheff W A, Plymouth H, Southampton A, Bristol City H (tricky playing 3 teams around them and these games will be massive for them) Plymouth, Norwich A, Bristol City H, Rotherham A, QPR H, Leicester H, Stoke A, Millwall A, Hull H (I dont see a lot of wins for Plymouth in remaing games) Blackburn, Ipswich H, Sunderland A, Southampton H, Bristol City A, Leeds A, Sheff Weds H, Coventry H, Leicester A. (Probably the most difficult run in and they are in poor form, I think we will finish above them) Millwall, Rotherham A, HTAFC A, Leicester H, Cardiff H, Sunderland A, Plymouth H, Swansea A (think they will be safe with at least 2 wins from these)
prediction 17th Sheff Weds 53points 18th QPR 51points 19th HTAFC 50points 20th Birmingham 50points 21st Stoke 49points 22nd Plymouth 47points 23rd BLackburn 46points
For sure we need to play a lot better than away at Rotherham, we just need to pick up some points when others are playing each other and massive home games like Birmingham and Milwall.

I'd say you are either brave or a bit daft to predict anything in the Championship. I wouldn't call the next game, never mind the other seven.

Bristol City, Swansea and Ipswich might all have nothing to play for by the time we play them.

To be fair they put in a decent shift against Leeds. I couldn't be confident right now which team will turn up for any of the remaining games. Play like they did against Leeds they have chance. Play like they did against WBA (2nd half), Cardiff and Rotherham then they have zero chance.

I just can't see 50 points being enough this season, but given our remaining fixtures, and the fact that, despite some disappointing results, things on the field have been a lot more hopeful since Moore's departure, survival is still very acheivable
Play like we did against Watford and Leeds, and we'll be fine, play like we did against Cardiff and Rotherham, and we're finished.

Which I think we will.

We might beat Brum, but the most-winnable games - QPR away, Rotherham away, Plymouth home - have all gone. Can't see any way out of this mess.

Impossible to predict this league. We have always seemed to find a way to stay up recently, hopefully our luck hasn’t run out.
Regardless, Andre needs to get a tune out of them sharpish because we can’t afford to leave ourselves with too much to do.,

We are second favourites (7/4) to go down according to Bet365. Wednesday are favourite (8/11). If you are so sure about Plymouth (4/1) and Blackburn (also 4/1) I presume you've put your money on them?

I think the Stoke match is massive and will decide who will go down, a draw could keep both teams up, thats how tight it will be till the last match.
Could be a stormer of a game, will Andre set up for a draw.
That's my prediction anyway.

If we can't beat the shittest team in the league then I don't see how anyone can predict where the next win(s) come from.
I personally think years of under investment, poor ownership and poor recruitment is now going to catch up with us.
Bring on League one.

I think we'll lose the next two and be three points adrift of safety with 6 left to play (essentially four points adrift with our goal diff). The last three performances suggest we're on a downward trajectory now. Coventry will roast us, and just don't see us performing in front of a hostile crowd at Stoke in what will be a must win for them. Sadly 😢

Staying up depends on one of Ward, Healey or Burgzorg having a purple patch. Can't see where the goals are coming from if it's not one of those 3.

None of us have any clue really. Any team can beat any other in this league. What WE have to do though is sort ourselves out. Didnt see any of sat but cardiff away was a disgrace as was 2nd half v wba. No passion, no energy, no desire, no quality - unacceptable. Thats down to the players and coaching team - the fans can back all they want but it matters not one jot if those on the field dont turn up ready and able to perform.

QPR will be fine. They appear to have been the better side in most of their recent games. Not sure how they turned it around as they were awful against us only a few weeks ago.
Millwall will be fine. The bounce from Harris returning has given them enough momentum to stumble to safety.
Blackburn will be fine. They've got a very tough run in but also have some quality players who can produce that bit of magic to win a game when you don't deserve to. I think they'll get enough points from Sunderland, Bristol and Wednesday to survive.
I think it is any 2 from Town, Weds, Plymouth, Stoke and Birmingham
Wednesday - Bannan and Poveda picked up injuries at the weekend. Anything serious and that could be them done. If they're back by the next game then who knows as they've got some very winnable games left to play and picked up a lot of points in 2024.
Plymouth - Seemingly in free fall and fans turning on the manager. 1 win in 9. However, their remaining games look kind to them on paper. If they do bring Warnock in then they'll comfortably get enough points.
Birmingham - This all depends on if Mowbray returns. If he does then it will galvanise them and give that boost to see them over the line. If he doesn't then I think they're down.
Stoke - Not really seen anything of them this season apart from when we played them. Couple of good wins recently suggests they're not completely useless. Can they win all 3 games against us, Wednesday and Plymouth? Certainly possible.
Town - Where are the goals coming from? We need to win 3 of our 4 home games and hopefully pick up the odd point on our travels to get us over 50 points. We've taken 8 points from our last 8 games and also averaging a point per game for the season so it is hard to see how we suddenly start exceeding that but we managed it last season with a poorer side.
Bottom 6 after 46 games
19 - Stoke 20 - Wednesday 21 - Plymouth 22 - Town 23 - Birmingham 24 - Rotherham

52+ points I reckon. Which we won’t get. I really can’t see 7 out of 8 teams ALL getting to 52+ points. Some will maybe but not all of them IMO. I think 48/49 will get you safe - which we still might not get.

I always thought if we slipped into the bottom 3 with less than 15 games left we would go down as I think its a massive blow confidence wise, self doubt sets in. While some of our escapes have been great they have all had some element of luck, and sooner or later luck runs out, oh its still possible that the international break will give AB time to get some steel into the squad, as thats whats needed but anymore performances like the last 2 and I doubt we will get to 40 points let alone the 50-54 needed. Seen a lot of people on here saying the squad is simply not good enough, I worry that the squad thinks its not good enough and look on the verge of giving up
