My concern is that AB's training sessions will have left our motley crew knackered. Aye well, turns out you were probably nearer the truth, although, unfortunately, the passion I was on about also turned out to be true, even if it was in the suffering, biblical sense :-( I also suspect that his Bach is wurst than his bite.

I just thought we came up against a better side and we did it with 3 or 4 of our players having REALLY bad off days. Not great. I like Headley but bloody hell he just had one of those games where he couldn't do a thing right. Basics were beyond him. Helik was very poor by his standards...the space he gave their lad to turn and shoot for the first was crazy. Koroma..Ive never known a player so black and white as him..there is no grey...hes either really good or really bad and you can tell in the first few minutes which he'll be. And it was really bad in that game. Should have hooked him after 10 minutes. And Bergzorg...can be great, can be a bloody nightmare and in that game he was a liability, constantly spoiling attacks by failing to get back onside. But there were positives. Thought we showed spirit and did well now to cave in at 2-0 and made a good game of it in the end. We needed one of those that hit the woodwork to go in. Thought Pat Jones was superb..he always seems to be..comes on and causes the opposition all kinds of problems. Start the lad! Thought Healey looked good. really aggressive and up for it. First thing he did was nut their centre back..let him know hes in a contest. Spencer again..very good..should have started..;seems daft that he didnt. yeah he played twice for NI but hes a young fit lad, hes not 35. Rudoni, Matos..they had decent games. We just cant seem to put a team performance in for a whole game. In bits we look pretty good but we have spells where we're really poor. Think we need to win all 3 of our remaining home games and they are all winnable if we play as we can ..Millwall, Swans and brum. And win one of the 4 aways to be sure. When we’ve won 8 games all season, at 20.5% win rate, can you see us turning that into a 43% or 57% strike rate for the 3 or 4 wins you suggest ? It's a big ask. Think it's all about momentum and weve hit a bad patch these last few games at just the wrong time. But just before that under Worthy and then the Watford win and getting a deserved point against Leeds with only 10 men, we looked like we'd comfortably see out the rest of the season I thought. Need to get back to that level of confidence somehow.

Does anyone have any stats as to the last time we came back from 2 goals down to salvage even a point?
The problem we have is twofold. We struggle to hold on to a lead when we’ve managed to score first, but more importantly, I’d be surprised if we’ve come back from 2 down to get something, maybe the last 3-4 seasons?

Also in the same season 25th October 2014 in a 2-2 draw with Ipswich at Portman Road. A considerable period of time. Edit: for a win after being 2 down is 21st February 2012 in a 3-2 home win over Brentford.

Nearly a decade of knowing that a couple of goals means defeat. No wonder people are so quick to leave or sit quiet when it happens.

Wasn’t that 3-2 the game where at 0-2 down, Alan Alan Lee barged their keeper into the net with the ball in his hands and the ref allowed it? A foul every day of the week - think we’ve been paying for that ever since! 😉

Odd question, but does anyone know who the player who launched that long throw into their box from the left in the second half was?
