Not very inspiring when our players never learned to kick a ball properly. What have they all been doing since they were 7 years old?? Playing FIFA on their PC.

Nicholls
Spencer Headley Helik Balker
Matos Rudoni
Burgzorg Koroma Healey
Radulovic
Subs: anyone fit.
Scoring goals is our best chance. That’s the side with goals in it.

Think AB very unlikely to pick a team with so many goalscorers, Not his style.

Well, lucky for us Coventry will definitely be pressing us….in theory exactly the kind of game we should do well in…….

Having watched Coventry they can sit in your half or go longer, so its difficult to have any firm plan on how to deal with them. They have full backs, wing backs who are regularly a mile from their defensive positions, so thats our way in. They do quite regularly end up all over the place on turnover of possession. I like them a lot. After we beat them I hope they win every game and go up.

Very good team are Cov and was gutted they didn’t go up last season really .
I’d go 3-4-3 for this one with
Nichols
Pearson Helik Balker
Kasumu Hogg Matos Spencer
Rudoni Ward Burgzorg
Utilise Radulovic, Healey, Koroma, Headley, Jones from the bench.
Coventry have the ability to sit back and hit on the counter or dominate from the start . Game plan for us has to be less on set pieces and more on fast attacking football with crosses into the box .
Going 2-1 Town . Burgzorg and Balker

So who's crying off injured this week. Balker will be one of them, as he is with Suriname and you would asume Bojan and possibly Healey as he has just come back. Spencer might as he is away with NI. Two big games that we need a full strength team for but we wont get it.

We’re up against it here and I want to see some commitment out on the pitch (although maybe Sorba & Hoggy can rein it in a little in future!).

Energy in the front six, most composed player a little deeper to take emphasis away from him in front of goal. A striker who may be a focal point when we get the ball and play it, and the energy just behind him to press and press and press, with changes on the hour if needed. Plus having finishers on the pitch. We've created enough chances lately, but we haven't shown that clinical side we need to score goals.

We have had a problem with players seemingly being injured / unaviable for selection for minor issues for extended periods of time for 18/20 months now. I understand when the chips are down some may use an excuse to come back when things perk up. Nagle and co need to look at the medical and SC staff seriously as its not just this season , it was last and the couple of years before. In the lockdown season we picked up more injuries than other teams for longer also.Is it the training methods/ SC methods or lack of ? is it the medical checks into players? I have a SC background, some of the training videos , where the guys are in the gym, leaves a lot to be desired. The coaches are nto watching them and some of the technqiues are poor , which can lead to injuries. The warm ups in both training and matches do seem not as properly run through like other clubs. Just things that make you think that the injury build up we have is not such a "bad luck" story more a possible lack of making sure all things are done correctly.

So, he should be back tomorrow and be available. Spencer may not start on Tuesday against Scotland as NI have some other left back coming back. Which would be good for Town, maybe not for Spencer who would presumably like to play against Scotland.

After the negative tactics against Cardiff and to a lesser extent Rotherham as we had a man sent off I really don’t see us getting the wins we need to stay up. Very little attacking in either. The only real thing in our favour we have games against Stoke way and Millwall, Swansea, Birmingham at home, all teams who have been inconsistent to say the least. I think we will get 0 points against Coventry and 1 at Stoke taking us to 40 points, then the outlook will depend on how others do at Easter

The more I think about this one, it’s not like a Southampton or a Leeds or a Leicester. This year Coventry are just one of those teams that are better than us in a really uninteresting, non-dramatic way. Wouldn’t be a massive upset if we won, no one would bat an eyelid at a draw. We very rarely win these sorts of games (Sunderland at home?). Hoping that international break has given us a chance but I’m not the most optimistic for this one.
4-0 town.

The incredibly dull international break is nearly over - well for England anyway.
I must admit it was nice having a stress free weekend but back to the stress on Friday Night.
Matos has to play and so does a striker.
Koroma hasn’t had a look in yet with Andre. Ward plays better off the bench for me. Is Bojan ready - I must admit when we signed him I didn’t realise he hadn’t played since October.
I would go with.
Nichols Spencer helik baulker Headley
Kasumu Hogg Matos
Rudhoni Koroma burzorg
But who takes the set pieces ? Rudhoni’s aren’t great. Wiles weren’t bad but can he fit in this team (or any?)
Hogg - a dilemma we miss his organisation but in the last few months I feel he has just lost a little pace.
Have to win.

Well, wasn’t being facetious, was simply stating a fact. We have to win a certain number of games to remain in the division so each and every game could be that game. 50 points will be enough for safety so, technically, we don’t have to win the next game. It’s quite simple.

If a member of the public can notice this, I’m surprised that no media raised this at the presser, if only to let them know that we know

Are the majority of fans that interested apart from first team and management-wise ? The Head of Medical also departed, some time pre-xmas, without comment.
