Must do all we possibly can to win???
A draw may be what you end up with, its not a great result.
Perhaps our situation is better described as above???

We're not really that bothered about the latest sponsor, but the club feel that we should be told. Even it ends with a caveat that no more will be said, they should tell us about staff leaving.
If the press don't hold them to account, who is there to monitor what they do?
This is as much the fault of the press as the club. Listening to the questions today, the interviewer knew the answer to at least half of the questions asked. Some might think that the press are spineless individuals who are only looking for quotes to fill columns and air time, irrespective of the qualityof the answer, or of the topic being discussed, but I couldn't possibly comment.

With Sorba out I think he'll go 352.
Nicholls
Pearson Helik Balker
Headley Hogg Rudoni Kasumu Spencer
Burgzorg Ward
If he thinks Spencer needs resting after playing for Northern Ireland then I reckon he'll play Kasumu on the right with Matos alongside Hogg.

Koroma radoluvic burgzog
Matos rudoni kasumu
Spencer helik balker hedley
Either keeper...
Strengths there are pace and legs..step on rather than stand off..
We can be busy when they have the ball and busy when we have it..
I like us a lot more when we are busy..

Last loss on a good Friday was 1978 During the 80's and 90's or the 2000's, for that matter, until recently, I don't even recall playing on Good Friday, it wasn't even a thing, games were on Saturdsy as normal.

Hopefully an improved performance after a break physically and mentally. Not a must win as sometimes it’s wise to take into account where we’re at and where the opponents are at. Would like to see us put a 90 minute performance in thought for the first time this season and a point would be a decent one.Think if go with the following with sorba missing. Nicholls Pearson Helik Balker Hogg/Kasumu Spencer Kasumu/matos Rudoni Headley Burgzorg/koroma Ward 3-1-4-2

Edit: by a rather strange quirk of coincidence I've just put the And he Rakes That Chance podcast on previewing the 2 upcoming games and it mentions your stat, the defeat in 1978 was against Grimsby Town, if you're interested.

The incredibly dull international break is nearly over - well for England anyway. I must admit it was nice having a stress free weekend but back to the stress on Friday Night. Matos has to play and so does a striker. Koroma hasn’t had a look in yet with Andre. Ward plays better off the bench for me. Is Bojan ready - I must admit when we signed him I didn’t realise he hadn’t played since October. I would go with. Nichols Spencer helik baulker Headley Kasumu Hogg Matos Rudhoni Koroma burzorg But who takes the set pieces ? Rudhoni’s aren’t great. Wiles weren’t bad but can he fit in this team (or any?) Hogg - a dilemma we miss his organisation but in the last few months I feel he has just lost a little pace. Have to win. Agree on the dull international break quote, seems an age since a Town game, espicialyou at this important stage of the season, used to manage without them when football was a working man's game!!

Adam Herczeg takes charge of his 1st Championship match tomorrow at JSS, he's dished out 81 yellows & 1 red in the 26 league 1 & 2 games so far this season.....Also awarded 7 pens all converted with 5 going to the home team, yes please Adam.

A penalty 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ We’d miss it anyway 🤪 Remember walking out on 60 minutes last season when they went 4-0 up thinking we were done.. So although the game is hugely important we could get beat and still stay up.. Tbh I’ve got no idea what’s gonna happen.. Nowt would surprise me.. Going in hope rather than expectation.. 🍻🍻

Fair to say we're due a penalty at home. We could say that two years ago, mind, and it hasn't happened in all that time. Worth pointing out that the last time we had a complete rookie in this division doing his first game at this level, he was the best ref we've seen all season. Mr Gill was excellent, and hopefully Mr Herczeg will be the same. At least to the point he's still 'mr' at the end of the game.

Matt on AHTTC made an interesting call regarding playing Balker as CDM. Can drop into a back 3 off ball and play in the midfield on the ball as he can actually pass and ‘break the lines’.
With that in mind, I’d go:
Nicholls Kasumu Pearson Helik Spencer Balker Matos Rudoni Burgzorg Ward Koroma
Would also be happy to see Bojan start and Healey utilised.

Looking at this poll it makes you wonder where certain fans think the next points are coming from.
Shame we cant bring Warnock and Worthington in as managerial back up as they surely know more regarding the squads strengths and weaknesses
Saying that , big talk down here in Devon is that Wanock is has met with those selling Torquay United

Following the presser midweek I think he’ll go for this:
………………Nicholls ……Pearson Helik Balker Spencer Hogg Kas Headley ………..….…Rudoni …….Burgzorg Radulovic
Don’t hate that line-up, definitely think we are better with a back 4, and definitely better with Matos on but that’s my prediction for today.
Score 1-1

They score 75% of the time. 12-1 is more reflective of the reality. Well, unless it’s us. The chances of anything coming from Mars were a million to one. Longer odds on us getting a penalty!

Current form and all things considered, can’t see us getting anything today. Coventry will be flying after that cup win. It’s the Championship so you never know but my head is saying a solid but entertaining defeat. Hope I’m wrong UTT

Coventry were below Town after the 1-1 draw in September, a month later after they lost at Rotherham 2-0 & after the November international break we were 20th (Cov) & 21st in the table, the Sky blues since have gone from played 16/16 points to where they are now on P37/57 pts......A repeat turnaround like last season under Robins guidance, you wonder had we stuck with NW we possibly would still be neck & neck in the table?

I think the difference in squads back in September meant Cov were still bedding players in/finding their best eleven. Meanwhile our threadbare bunch were tasked with “getting us through to the transfer window”. It would’ve been a big ask to expect even with NW in charge to be where they are now.

If you want to win games you pick Koroma £very week. Warnock did and got the results. Andre will not. So who has the goal threat? And we are better 433 He will not do it.

NW told the media after last years Good Friday win at Watford that JK & Ruffels were among four players told they had no future at Town but were some of the best on the pitch today......Brought High & Harratt on to turn the game in our favour, lets just hope AB sees something similar in this squad.
