Relegation odds. Wednesday 4/6, Town 6/4, Plymouth 6/4, Birmingham 7/4, Millwall 9/2, QPR and Blackburn 8/1 That's good value on Millwall.

What concerns me is some of the perceived arrogance from certain players. Maybe it’s just a feeling I have but the ones that come to mind are Nicholls, Pearson, Burgzorg and Sorba. Are they going to think we are good now? Even today they just weren’t acting as if it was the big game it was. Rubbish! Just enjoy the 3 points will ya. Everyone one of your previous posts are just nit picking. UTFT

Sorba is one of the shining lights in this shower of a season. Only 4 players in the whole division have created more chances and all of them play in teams going for promotion, two for Leeds and two for Leicester! He was almost literally fighting for the shirt today. I still think he’s our best attacker but the bit where he started fighting over basically nothing was something unnecessary given the circumstances. He’s allowed a blip. The other three are not though.

Massive win. What was going on in the upper tier? Medical issue, old boy taken out conscious and alert

What I also find interesting is that we weren’t completely useless without worlds best player rudoni. There were certain points where we missed him but there were also points where he would’ve slowed in down and lost the ball. Interesting that you thought we weren't completely useless. I thought we were gash for 93 mins

Helik and Pearson were superb today. Defended for their lives.
Sorba was excellent.
Healey love his industry.
Matos and kasumu are too Similar.
Wiles looked like he wanted to try and make things happen. Has to play on Tuesday for me.
Left back is a problem. Jackson didn’t have a good game and Headley just looks a little naive at times.
5 games left.
Let’s win the next one.

If he only last 60 mins then bring Edwards on

Not read the thread. Just like to comment. All you lot that boo when Edwards comes on, you look and sound juvenile and pathetic. You are just sheep. I don’t even think you know why you are doing it. He’s been poor while he’s been here, but to boo him as he enters the pitch…grow up. Those who booed were absolute utter cards, absolute wankers, cards cards cards, fuck off and watch someone else cards.

I thought we were gash for 93 mins I didn’t think we were decent at all but I’m just wondering what difference he would’ve made. Although to be fair I’m not sure what the plan was today. Seemed like we were trying to play football but realised we aren’t good enough for it. Either way it’s a big result which we’ve needed for a while.

The arrogance & swagger is what makes Sorba the player he is & our current situation is no place for shrinking violets. It struck me today that a lot of our players seemed hesitant & scared of making a mistake. Hopefully the win will ease some of the pressure on the players & make them less hesitant

Rudoni gets pelters on here sometimes but we don't half miss his energy and industry when he's not playing. I thought Rudoni was anonymous today, didn't contribute anything. What a childish post, where did I imply he played today?

Presumably that's why the Millwall players were trying to fight him at every opportunity, well done to him to avoid retaliating. Ref should have seen it and dealt with it, thankfully he kept his head and they got what they deserved in the end.

Two really poor teams but Millwall even poorer than Town. With the wind in their favour 2nd half did they did next to nothing (thankfully). In strong wind like that it's easier to play into the wind than with it.

We looked very nervous for the first 25 minutes with very little idea. No plan and didn't seem to have the slightest idea of how to pass a ball. You could blame the wind, but Millwall passed it much better than us and had a couple of chances to go in front. We improved at the end of the first half and had a few chances ourselves, a bobble past the post and Koroma closed down with an open goal in front and another shot just over the bar. Ben Jackson had a shocker in that first half... I was very surprised that he was playing. Was he ill? Where would we be without Sorba... he was terrific again.
Second half we upped it, but we tended to panic with any possession we had. However, we played into the wind much better than Millwall did. Saying that, looking at the trees on the Kilner Bank the wind had died a bit. Midway through the second half Millwall came back into it and the crowd got extremely frustrated.
I left on 93 minutes, the roar for the goal was ear-splitting from the bridge over the calder and I was jumping about like a young un.
If we were poor today, Millwall are a shocking advert for football... 21 fouls to our 7. Shots Town 17 (6), Millwall 6 (1). An absolutely horrible team who I'm pleased to say, got their just desserts.
Town man of the match Helik with mentions in despatches for Pearson and Sorba (he needs anger management therapy though)..

Right but punting the ball into a 40mph wind for 45 mins makes total sense

Long passes, or hoofing it, was always a lottery as to who would receive the ball. So surely the gameplay should have been to make shorter passes with less affect from the wind.

Poor quality game, but the front foot was ours, the best and most chances were ours so fuck it.. There is only winning from here on in and how you win makes no bleeding difference. The work rate was good. Helik and pearson did well against small centre forwards, which isnt always easy and matos, although he forgot where was quite often and kasumu worked hard. Millwall's idea of simply kicking it long from everywhere didnt impress and their fouling didnt suprise me. Go till the death and get what you can.?? Winning always better than not...

I’m guessing you’ve not heard the clip that they were referring to? A RL commentary from a few yrs back. No it was from the darts World Championship 2023 final when Michael Van Gerwen threw 8 perfect darts and narrowly missed a 9 darter. Then Michael Smith threw 9 perfect darts in the very same leg. Wayne Mardle is a true legend No - Mardle's commentary was superb - but clearly a reference to the rugby league original.

I was beginning to despair in 2nd half with so many hoofs downfield every single one gobbled up Millwall defence.. Only when we used the wings did we progress and start to look dangerous. A pig of a game against niggly opponents although well referreed I thought. Another 90+ minute goal against Millwall is sweet and a vital 3 points at last

It must have been pretty windy at ground level also. Ball boys at the panasonic end took the balls off the cones and put them next to the billboards.
