We can barely string 4 passes together. Well we can and we do..we just struggle to do it for a full game too often. We can be great in the 1st half then utter dogshit in the 2nd. Didnt see any of the Bristol game but by the sound of it we were decent all the way through, so hopefully thats the end of these 20-30 minute spells that are killing us. The passing stats for The Championship suggest otherwise, only Rotherham with worse passing stats, no wonder we are both bottom 3. Our passing absolutely kills us.

John Bushby ref for saturday Not seen it confirmed on EFL site yet but if it is John Busby he had an eventful run in last season with Town & Mr Warnock overseeing wins at JSS against Brum, Boro & Blades......Should be quite used to the nervous atmosphere then.

What have the US got to do with this game? Not the country, 'US' as in battlers, not bottlers......Similar to the ones who showed Wendies, Sunderland & Millwall recently at JSS we have some fight in US. Ermmm, try a joke and there is always someone who takes it literally!

One thing is for certain, it will be the smallest away following of the season even smaller than Bristol.

Busby? With some of the refs we’ve had this season I’d say it’s even worth letting Maureen Lipman have a go…

Thinking about bringing the youngsters down to the game but noticed online it says that they're only eligible to £1 tickets if an adults buying one at the same time. I'm a season ticket holder, so does that mean that they wouldn't be eligible to the offer?

Interesting, but I think I'd be asking the ticket office, not the random bunch of insomniacs, nere-do -wells and argumentative misfits on here, mate. But...what do I know?

Correct, just thought I'd get in early as ticket office doesn't open until later. Tempted to just say 'f*ck it' and pay to go in North stand lower anyway. Might feel abit less tense in there as we will likely have half the stand to ourselves.

We desperately need to win this one, but sadly I believe it will result in another 1-1 draw , lets just hope I am very mistaken.

They’ll defo let the kids have the £1 tickets too. Always very reasonable and helpful at ticket office.

What are we expecting team wise ? guessing the squad is the same as the Bristol game. Surely now one of the strikers is fit to start a game.
Would go with
Nicholls Turton Helik Lees Spencer Matos Rudoni Sorba Koroma Healey Burgzorg
Get more attacking players on the pitch, both Kasumu and Pearson can not pass a ball, I very much doubt Turton is fit to start but if he is its more balanced.

If we'd have turned just 3 of those draws in to wins we'd be safe by now.

Lose and we are done.
Portsmouth just promoted after 7 seasons in league one, that’s how difficult it can be to get back.
Please let us have some luck - we are certainly due some.
Nichols Pearson (too soon for turton) helik lees Spencer.
One thing I did notice though is that at Bristol Spencer kept cutting in on his right foot and was unable to pass to Koroma. But who do we have ? Nobody - Headley isn’t champ ready imo.
Kasumu - don’t let him shoot. Matos -
Koroma rudhoni thomas
Della ? Or Healey or ward or Bojan ? I think I would go with Della but part of me wonders whether it’s time Healey was given a start.

Your right Pearson isn’t the best on the ball but be amazed if doesn’t start. He’s generally one you can trust and I think The fact that lees and rudoni started off the back of virtually no training suggests he’s wants lads he can trust. Also it’s likely to be a game where we have very very little of the ball, set pieces at a premium. From which you 100% want Pearson on the pitch. Yes it’s frustrating to watch him give the ball away but let’s face it 75% of the side do that regular.Play to our strengths, will have to sit in shape a lot and hit on the break and maximise any set pieces. 4-2-3–1 Nicholls Pearson Helik Lees Spencer Kasumu Matos Sorba Rudoni Koroma Burgzorg. I’d really like to start Healey but with how good Swansea are on the ball and how well they keep it we’re going to play on the break and pace up top will be the order of the day. Koroma to stay in as on a little run.

On a brighter note, and unusual for me, we only have to beat Swansea (on the beach), Rotherham (no pressure) beat Birmingham, and then if we beat Birmingham we are safe !

Seeing as we're at the 'pick your team' stage of the week:
Nicholls
Pearson Lees Helik Spencer
Matos Rudoni
Thomas Healey (if fit enough) Koroma
Radulovic
Subs: Maxwell, Turton, Headley, Diarra, Kasumu, Wiles, Jones, Burgzorg, Ward

I'd like us to start with Ward on Saturday. He has a knack for scoring crucial goals, ala Sheff Utd last season. He will get proper stuck in aswell. We need battlers.

Fans need to be absolutely behind the team next 2 games. Make the ground totally intimidating to the opposition.

It's shit or bust time now for Town. Anything other than two wins at home and we are relegated with Rotherham regardless of other results. So, we have to be on the front foot from the off even if we leave ourselves vulnerable. The strongest forward line should be picked and that incluedes Thomas, Koroma, Ward and Healey. Forget Radulovic he seems a bit scared of challenges to me. We need to exploit our pace with Kasumu in midfield supported by Spencer overlapping and the front pair of Koroma and Thomas. I really think we will beat Swansea and then anything is possible against Brum. Now that Rovrum have belatedly sacked their manager I feel it is open to question whether that will galvanise the squad or undermine them. Anyway I think Brum will win as they will see a draw as useless unlike our game at the New York stadium.
Still feel that those three drawn games in January with Moore in charge are going to really come back to haunt us. If we had only won one of the trio against QPR, Blackburn or Plymouth it would have meant two more points at this stage. Amazing how tight it has become!
