MUST WIN!!!! and if Birmingham would somehow managed only a draw at Rotherham (i know, who’d be that shit?) that would set up an absolute stonker the week after. Or even better and lost.

That’s just greedy. Needing a win against Birmingham to stay up is a scenario i think every single one of us would take.

To be fair to the players they showed they had the bottle for survival on Saturday. Just need to keep going now.

To be fair to the players they showed they had the bottle for survival on Saturday. Just need to keep going now. This has been missed in all of penaltygate furore. We were decent on Saturday, after that disastrous last 10 minutes the game before. We have had absolutely no luck whatsoever since we came back from the international break. We are due a weekend where all results go for us and we are due a shock result at one of the top sides as well. If Rotherham could just turn up for one more game this season...

Clutching at straws but if we happen to get in front before Birmingham it could get very nervy for them over there. Still absolutely seething about that referee on Saturday, those 2 points would’ve made a hell of a difference!!!

It’s a must-win. We also have to beat Birmingham after that. We haven’t won back-to-back games all season, and this has to be when we change it. Beat Swansea and we have more than half-a-chance. Don’t win and results go for us, and we’re still in the fight. Lose and results against us and that’s that, barring a two-match miracle. Feels like we haven't, but under Neil Warnock we achieved it with wins against WBA & Rotherham back in September......Jon Worthington also had back to back home wins v Wendies & Sunderland. I stand corrected, thank you.

Even if we need 3 wins, which I doubt very much we will, it is not out of the realms of possibility that we can get them. It wouldn't be the greatest run in football to win 3 in a row & remember, we were well in it at Preston til the last 15 mins, we beat Millwall & we fully deserved to win on Saturday. The problem is you don't always get what you deserve & the football Gods have been very much against us of late, that doesn't mean they can't come back in our favour over the last 3 games though.

Can’t see Swansea fancying a battle so make sure they get one . Shame it looks like Hoggy won’t make it but with Rudoni Kasumu and Matos Town have the energy and fight to win the midfield battle . Saturdays starting line up all did enough to get a game on Saturday .Penny seems to have dropped with Del who did try to pass when others in better positions to score . Set pieces have to be capitalised on . although Josh and Del are both at their best left side there does appear to be a semblance of an understanding developing . Boss the midfield and create the platform to win the game (not withstanding another substandard referee)! UTT

About 3 Swansea fans will attend. Don’t annoy anyone just try harder than them and they’ll roll over and let us tickle their belly. Their game against Rotherham looked like a friendly.
4 0 Town

Win, wendies lose, birmingham draw, town safe with a win over birmingham, we can dream. The only one that I might be confident about happening is Blackburn beating Wednesday. I will have a word but blackburns remind me of when we lost to Brum and they went down promotion year?

I think we'll stay up just from my eternal optimism that argued to people we'd stay up all last season just off a hunch. Also last season after 43 games we sat on 44 points having just drawn 1-1 with Josh Koroma scoring. Then we faced a Welsh team and on the 4th of May we face the team sat in 2nd for most of the season. Here ends your lesson on the bullshit I can come up with.

A week ago Millwall fans having watched their team lose back to back over five days to mighty Town & Rotherham with 11 wins between them must have feared the worst with Leicester & Cardiff at home to follow......We have to match what the Lions have done to reach 50 points & possible safety, its up to US!! What have the US got to do with this game?

Not the country, 'US' as in battlers, not bottlers......Similar to the ones who showed Wendies, Sunderland & Millwall recently at JSS we have some fight in US.

Let's have it!
Hope Healey or Bojan start. When needing wins, not sure we can justifiably have both, as well as Ward all on the bench.

Looks the most winnable out of the three. Brum will be far from a pushover and it worries me they have Rowett who's exactly the type of coach you'd want in their predicament.
As others have said we've seen how luck usually plays a part. Surely we've now had our share of the bad sort!

I know i’m eyeing the Birmingham game, i hope the team aren’t. Nerves are kicking in already, relegation could be as good as confirmed Saturday or we could be looking at beating Birmingham up with a game to spare.

This game should suit the high press style that André likes. Swansea tend to dick around with it at the back so we need to swarm them and force mistakes.
We've not had any goal contributions from Sorba or Rudoni since André came in, that needs to change. They are meant to be our most creative players.

Sorba has never scored goals and never will, he's basically got a half decent corner on him and that's it. If we can get some money from Carlos for him in the summer that would be great.

This is a bit of a random post but on transfermarkt ( I know) there’s a players points per game ranking and it shows that our generally considered three best players - Helik , rudoni and sorba have the worst numbers for players who’ve started thirty games. I have no idea how it’s calculated but I wonder how these things are incorporated into choosing the team because surely the selection would be based off these kind of things. I don’t think they are particularly droppable but I do often wonder about players who play almost every game in a bad season. The eye test says they are the better players but are they better for the team result. I get your point, but, for me at least, it highlights how stats can become skewed and not really demonstrate real world experience. If you were data driven, would you risk benching all or some of those three players if you thought it would improve your chances? Does the sample size of games skew the perception as well? Versus someone who’s only played 10 games, but has been in a side who have won a few points?

They’ve just got to start in a positive way. Put that first big tackle in and the crowd will take care of itself. Get into the tippy tappy fuckers and they won’t want it.
Beat Swansea and Birmingham will shit a brick having to come here and get something.
You fucking Terriers!

Been saying this at work today, we need to get ahead early doors, word gets round in Rotherham that we’re 1-0, panic sets in over there knowing if they lose to us next week they could be gone. Just win at all costs on Saturday, then see where land lies! You never know we might get a dodgy pen!!!! Think I’m still pissed from weekend!

Town 4 Swansea 0 A complete stuffing for the Swans on Saturday We can barely string 4 passes together. Well we can and we do..we just struggle to do it for a full game too often. We can be great in the 1st half then utter dogshit in the 2nd. Didnt see any of the Bristol game but by the sound of it we were decent all the way through, so hopefully thats the end of these 20-30 minute spells that are killing us.
