I know Sorensen’s first name is pronounced ‘Lass’ phonetically, but I really need to hear Westie shout ‘Go on Lassie!’ At some point in the near future. There is a lovely Scottish ballad called “The Wild Mountain Time” - In the chorus I think is a lyric line of - ‘Will Ye go, Lassie go’ - It’s ma 54th birthday next week and I’ll be drinking to celebrate it (Surprise Surprise) ! That song - I will be giving it Laldy after today’s signing... In fact - I actually fancy myself as a good lyric writer / creator... I must draft up some verses for our new signing and maybe The Cowshed Loyal will give ma efforts Laldy in the coming season - Watch this space ! 🎵

Cowleys, Toffolo and a few will remember we signed Gary Taylor Fletcher from them back in 2005 after he had just won there Supporter's POTY award. GTF. Good player for Town. Yes, but even better for Blackpool.

TBF Lincoln is actually really nice. One of the few cities that I actually like. The city itself is fine, Lincoln Cathedral was the tallest man-made structure on Earth for about 400 years... But anyone trying to suggest it is at the cutting edge of modern life is surely taking the p***. It's basically Taunton but without the cider. To be frank, I don't think anywhere in the UK is 'at the cutting edge of modern life'.

Looks like he is the sort of guy who is keen to progress his career but if he goes straight to Championship will probably be sat on bench. No disrespect to any Lincoln fans but perhaps he sees this as a natural progress to a team that potentially Have a better chance of being promoted to Championship

Hope I’m wrong here, but in the two friendly’s has anyone actually seen him make a successful cross into the box yet? Comes across to me as been very industrious but no end product!
I shall just sit here and wait to be shot down by everyone!!!

Hopefully it's just a combination of a bobbly pitch and a bit of rustiness. I'm not panicking yet but I did notice it..

Not sure if it is but the Emley pitch seemed very narrow and all a bit close in thoss wide areas leading to lots of blocked crosses. Will wait to see him on our turf before passing judgement

Featured in an awful film. Edit: but probably more Scottish than Irish, although looking at the long list of people who've recorded it, including Dylan, the Byrds, Joan Baez, Judy Collins, Rod Stewart, Rufus Wainwright and many, many others, the whole world might claim it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_Mountain_ThymeEnough now.
