Although having said that Sorensen does sound a decent player, the Imps triggered their extra one year contract extension option on him last week.

Sorensen be good signing I think.
Seemed to do well last season,has for last few but added few more assists and goals.on paper should be good one to get if it’s true.
No doubt everyone will jump all over fact that he’s ex stoke in academy days though 🤦🏼♂️
I’ll choose to look at it as with him and the may links we look like we’re targeting the better players in the division for their positions.

He is not good going forward but an absolute rolls royce at the back. i can see him playing right sides CB in a back 3. |

Called someone saying this 😀 I think if it’s a bit of an iffy signing or looks like that’s the only reason we’ve signed him them fair enough to bring it up.but by all accounts one of the better if not the best player in his position in the division last season.May is also and as far as I know isn’t ex stoke or beswicks. If we trot back a touch further neither was Radulovic,Healey,matos,balker. So if we’re going off the last 5 signings including Sorensen that’s 1 from 5. If we go back to the summer neither wiles,burgzorg or Maxwell I don’t think had any stoke connections either.Obviously edwards did.So 2 from 9. I know some staff have been ex stoke too but in terms of the playing side it’s an Avenue we are considering but judging by the numbers so far it’s not something we’re relying on but just trying to utilise as and when it’s required. |

Yep,if they are decent enough and the right fit then no worries. But feels like the black book of contacts keep getting used and what does that day about our scouting - again no worries if thats because our scouting isnt currently where it should be. Wasn't the big thing about Warnock being that he just used his contacts etc? |
