Looks a terrific signing, maybe we should just ask Lincoln what wing back signing they're making next & cut out the middle man?

Was speaking to a fan outside the ground after the game who says he sees him going running around where he lives at about 4am. Presumably before a day of training too. Is it any wonder he’s putting in performances like that when he has that dedication. He could go really really far, hopefully with us because he will definitely be on other clubs radar.

He spoke in the WR afterwards, collecting his award - he was eloquent, engaging and had time for every question put to him. Think we have a gem on our hands.

Other side, I know, but reminds me a bit of the promotion season version of Chris Lowe. His knack of knowing when to cross it early, when to hit it from the byline and when to cut it back, seems really good. For all the plaudits Thomas received for his crossing, from open play the vast majority were hit and hope. Lower standard of opposition, but this season we look way more dangerous from wide positions.

Said on Saturday that he’ll be playing in the Championship next season whether or not we are.

Not sure what's going on with him but he was rightly dropped yesterday and then looked like Dave from the Dog and Duck after 4 pre game pints.
Twice he completely jumped under the ball with no Reading player near him. On the first one Duff just stood there shaking his head at him.
He and Headley seem to have caught the same confidence stripping virus

Since then he’s made Callum Woods look like Cafu. Far too many of our players can be good but have such a low floor. When they stink, they STINK.

Said he’d be our player of the season after watching preseason and the first 2 or 3 games. He’s obviously had a massive confidence issue since then but you don’t turn into a bad player overnight so hopefully him (and the rest of the squad) can rediscover that early form.

It's taken a bit of time for Town to coach it out of him.

It's taken a bit of time for Town to coach it out of him. Isn’t it bizarre. After the first 3 or 4 games with multiple assists I thought wow. Marauding down the wing putting superb balls in. It’s like we’ve turned the switch off

Maybe the coaching team are over concentrating on the defensive side of his game leaving him confused .
He obviously has the forward game needs releasing.
Sometimes wonder if there’s too much micro management going on.

It’s the culture of the club, no matter what player we get they soon turn out like the rest.
Similar to watching man united now, they could get the best players and mangers in the world and still look shit. Like us they’re rotten to the core.

Sometimes wonder if there’s too much micro management going on. I think the instruction is very simple to him, commit to the wide forward runs and give us an option. There were 2 or 3 times, he made really good advanced forward runs, didnt receive the ball, and/or didnt receive the ball quick enough, and he looked at the bench in major frustration. He's not been utilized as much as he was in the opening 2-3 games.

In the last two home games he's just constantly tried to cross it with the defender stood right in front of him. Unsurprisingly it was blocked every time. Didn't seem to have the confidence to try and create a yard before crossing it I think he's only any good when he's played in to space to be able to cross it on the run. A lot like Thomas really

The opposition sussed our wingbacks early doors and just stifle them now. They mark them out of the game. Miller has that extra yard of pace which gives him the advantage, Sorensen needs clear ground to run into which teams just don't allow which means he picks the ball up from deeper and deeper positions and the fact our midfielders can't pass a ball 5 yards means if he does get in the final 3rd we're incapable of finding him. We must be a dream for opposition coaches to play against.
