Can't wait for the article on their signing of Burgzorg 😉🤣.

What a load of bollocks. The reason he only played 11 games, some as substitute was because he was injured!

Akpom and Latte Lath instead.
I'm sure they'll cope.

Hasn't brought his goal scoring form back from France?
In a RUBBISH team he scored a goal once every 140mins - basically matching the goal per 136mins rate that their top scorer Emmanuel Latte Lath managed, a player they're now "worried about losing"! 🤷♂️

Click bait nonsense. If Boro take Sulky Sorba alongside his ‘pal in pouting’ Burgzorg then they will be after Healey to fire them back into the Championship.

Middlesbrough Football Club is a professional association football club based in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, England. The team competes in the EFL Championship, the second level of the English football league system. If you meant next year you should be clearer.

What a strange article to share and defend on a player that we signed 6 months ago.
Just seems another excuse to have a dig at the club. Move on - yawn.

Very harsh article. Think Rhys will be vital to us next season.

FLW is a garbage content mill, keep seeing their articles in my news feed and they're always poorly written (possibly with help of AI) pieces with very little of substance.

Averaged a goal every 140 minutes played in the Championship last season. Hardly stats to ridicule someone in a shit article.

Goals per minute last season was decent at Watford and Town. Hope he stays with us - certainly rather have him that Delano.

I would be excited by a front two of Healey and May in L1

I would be excited by a front two of Healey and May in L1 Just my thoughts. It would be great to have a really good strike partnership. We have had some good ones in the past but it has been quite a while. Regarding the article from FLW any club that signs Burgzorg permantly after the way he played for us has not done their homework, unless they think their superior management style will bring the best out of him. One of the most selfish players I have seen in a Town shirt, and lacking end product.

I would be excited by a front two of Healey and May in L1 I rate both, but I do wonder how well they'd work together, even if we sort out the issue of them having absolute dogshit service from midfield.

I would be excited by a front two of Healey and May in L1 Exactly. Plus Bojan in there and some loan / academy lads......might manage to have strikers as the top scorers....

That’s way too harsh, he was injured! What we wouldn't sign an injured player in the January window would we? We needed players to hit the ground running in order to avoid relegation, oops we did it again!

That’s way too harsh, he was injured! We would never sign an injured player would we? Especially when we needed someone to hit the ground running to avoid relegation, oops.

Didn't we pay £2m for Healey?
If so, it must go down as one of the worst buys in our history, especially as Watford got him on a free.

He wasn’t injured when we signed him. He wasn’t fully match fit either and the club seemed to struggle to get him fit. He picked up an injury against Wednesday but AB seemed to decide he wasn’t fit enough to start after that but he did well when he came on. I think there is a good player in there. He will, IMO, be a really good striker for us.

I'm betting on him bagging 15 plus goals for us. He's going to be very handy.

I'm betting on him bagging 15 plus goals for us. He's going to he very handy. I think so too..very cruel calling him a flop when he wasn't even fit Still 3 goals in 11..average that out over 46 games and he would be on 12/13 goals

Get 35 games out of him next season and we’ll have a 20-goal man. The key is looking after him and keeping him fit.
