Jesus wept, what a shite trophy name. Money has taken over, and promoting non food shite. Thankfully apart from an occasional treat (taste wise...maybe) in other such fast food outfits,I stick to cooking my own, even if it's only eggs on toast.
I'm reading something at the moment, and I've always stuck with butter, but if you knew about margarine you'd throw up. Germany before world war 1 or just after had very poor coal reserves. Most of it was Lignite which only burnt at 30% efficiency.
One of the waste products though was what we call paraffin wax. Some bright bod discovered if you add one enzyme to this it made soap, and if you added another it made a perfectly good substitute for butter, with a little more meddling around of course.
I am glad I'm of an age where I've never drank coke, yep honestly, because if there are ingredients in there not in your kitchen, it's probably not food in any shape or form and it's American crap.

Shocked that we didn’t get Bradford Disappointed we didn't get Bradford just so I could witness their sad fans dancing and hugging each other and openly sobbing in the south stand when their full strength side beat our reserves. Just like the last time they beat us in some competition we clearly didn't care about. I'll possibly go to the Doncaster and Barnsley games but there's no way I'll go to see us play someone's U21 side. |

Mind try to remember that Okinawa used to be one of the healthiest islands in the world before the USA set up a base there. Now they're one of the least healthy Japanese islands, many massively overweight, simply because Americans "overall" prefer they're own crap and have built every one of their own restaurants all over the place to satisfy that need. Note, from my dad before he died, the British weren't allowed to eat off base during National Service ( Baghdad I think) in case they caught the lurgy/bug and couldn't work. ( I asked him because he would never try a curry with me, and I couldn't understand just what he'd been doing in the army...see the world and all that crap- he didn't see much local life at all.)The NAAFI was the only place you were supposed to eat, and opposite in general to USA we imported the locals and their food like curry. I doubt there are many fish and chip shops in Pakistan etc. Still you're right, other Countries do, the only thing is, in no way is something made from coal actually food, and it's not on it's own. |

The 'competition' has the potential to be the fans protest for the Club being relegated. Will anyone go?
An absolute waste of time. Need to go out first round and play the mascots. Success in this competition will not disguise any shortcomings in the league. 46 games count - forget everything else, especially this.

I'd go to the final and thats it. Even then I'd hardly be sulking if we lost. The tournament is a complete non entity.
It's a completely different era to 1994. Back then we hadn't been to Wembley in 56 years and had never been in the hunt for a return to the big time in over 20. For various reasons 'Big' games were a thing of the past.
Now we potentially get to play the u21 sides of Teams we were promoted to the top flight with just 7 years ago and have played at Wembley 4 times in 12 years.

Warnock's first spell turned on that 1-0 away at Stockport. I believe that today's young people would describe "scenes" after the goal. I just remember getting jumped on by complete strangers. |

If you're boycotting games in this competition to protest being relegated (which is pointless in itself, what good would come of it?) then you should also boycott the first two rounds of the FA Cup and every league game that coincides with an International weekend... because by that logic we "shouldn't be playing". |
