Was relegation ever in the backs of your mind going into the season, especially after Warnock left? 2. Realistically, how strong do you think the squad will be to WIN the division? We all know there are one or two players probably not even up to that standard still at the club. 3. How often are you planning on coming over during the season?

Are there any thoughts that Sac Rep currently have any players that might make the grade with us (other than Phillips, the one I've been most impressed by in the very brief highlights I've seen has been the right sided defender, Gurr)? Or any youngsters coming through that are highly thought of?
I also guess the manager, Mark Briggs, is highly thought of at Sac, has he been in the mix for a job at Town?

With Wrexham heavily utilising the American market and flying over for friendlies to improve their brand, is this an avenue you are looking at?
Do you have any mega celeb pals that could boost the corporate image?

...we were told some time ago that the final episode of the "Up The Town" series was already completely edited and produced, but for some strange reason of not wanting to upset Town fans, it was decided not to release in the immediate aftermath of relegation...but would instead see it released late May or early June.
Its beyond that in late June now, and pre-season for NEXT season is already underway, my question therefore is......"when will we see the final UTT episode??"

Any news on the stadium ownership given that Kev said he hoped it would be sorted in a couple of weeks about a month ago.

What's the biggest/most surprising thing you've learned owning an English football club?

The re-assemblance of the academy structure excites me but is there going to be anything different on offer to the obvious competitors around? The Huddersfield JFL is one of the largest junior leagues around yet it's only recently that Town have started to engage at all with it, you've also got competition with the Junior Premier League and their "academies". How will the academy be different from the one that Dean Hoyle claimed was costing too much and was unable to continue to be financially viable?

And who decided on orange training wear? No connection with town and that colour as far as I'm aware. It's awful.

Once Kev gets the stadium will we get a more clear long term plan with the stadium and how it will drive success?
Also how are the club looking to improve the merchandise? From looking on our megastore website I think it’s quite narrow as to who the merch is targeting, hence why it’s quite noticeable how many don’t wear Town merch on match day. Bigger brands such as Adidas, Nike maybe New Balance would target a wider range of Town fans in my opinion.

Firstly, thanks again for the offer to submit questions for the diary, mine is as follows:
To what extent (if at all) are Sacramento Republic fans showing an interest in the fortunes of Town and are there any plans to co-merchandise the two teams?
Thanks again.

Thanks for the chance to ask questions....
I noticed pre season testing has been done in house this year rather than at a local university. So clearly further improvements have been made at the training complex. Would it be possible for supporters to be told what improvements we've made? Not everyone will be interested but others will!

If Kevin could kindly answer some of the questions below. Interested in the understanding of last season and current position the club is in.
1. As we are aware last season had 3 x permanent managers, 1 x interim manager, releasing of experienced previous players on loan/sold, signings which struggled, fitness issues/injuries and relegation and the financial impact from relegation-in the previous end of season review, Kevin stated Mark Cartwright had done everything asked of him and retained his position. In Kevin’s view what is poor performance by a Director of Football and is the judgement over a set time period ie 3 years+
2. AB reported the issues with players and lack of professionalism. AB looked to be retained at the end of the season, therefore was a level of trust in him from the club and Kevin. In Kevin’s interview he said he wasn’t aware of the issues with the players before it was too late and we were relegated. In the reporting to Kevin by the clubs senior management team, the issues ongoing were not mentioned. How does Kevin set out the reporting from the senior team is validated in the future?
3. Does Kevin have or looking to make a shareholding in Beswick Sports?
4. What is the strategy for the club taking in consideration the learning in the last 12 months. Previously it was Premier League in 3 years. Recently Kevin said in an interview the club has to be ready for the premier league in all areas before it gets there. Assume the timeline is increasing from previous understanding the task in hand.
5. Is Kevin looking to increase frequency of visits to Huddersfield esp if things aren’t going to plan.
Thankyou

Bearing in mind the noticeable improvements being made in the structure and off-field professionalism at the club, why is Mark Cartwright allowed to turn up for press conferences and photo shoots looking like he's come straight from the airport after a benidorm stag do?

Although nobody wanted to be relegated it does feel like an opportunity to take the club forward. To that end I sense that there is a different attitude already across the club. Does Mr Nagle agree?
How much importance is being put on getting everyone pulling in the same direction?
And
To what extent are we going to use our, relative, status as a club this season? ie Are we going to be confident, not arrogant, about who we are and use that as a positive? (as opposed to talking ourselves down, as we have in the past). Does Mr Nagle see any barrier to matching such an ambition ie being unable to compete with other bigger clubs in the league.

Wouldn't mind a US tournament for preseason though. Could be interesting, and raise our profile across the pond.

What other music are you two into? Dave thinks Bob Dylan and neil Young are “unbelievably overrated artists” in history, so I’m not sure I’d be looking for musical guidance from him. (Having said that, I saw Dylan at the site of Woodstock (Bethel Woods) a few years ago and he was terrible. Listen to the records, kids).

I'd like to know more specific detail on how the Academy will be better this time around. Also, what aspects of the B Team structure will they be keeping? Just on your point about the JPL. The JPL isn't competition for professional clubs Academies. The JPL is simply a glorified grassroots league. All the kids that play in it are grassroots players. Any of them that are good enough for Pro clubs Academies will get scouted and signed. The rest wont be anywhere near good enough for Town's Academy or any other clubs Academy and will just continue to play JPL and in the Huddersfield Junior League
