Does Kevin think the yellow card system on DATM should be scrapped?

Cheers Sparrow. I'm aware it's glorified grassroots football but I've stumbled across a few teams in the JPL that claim to be a pathway into the game. Some teams feed semi-pro clubs and some are run by people already operating within pro clubs. I think we've made steps to co-operate with the local leagues but it's been a long time coming and I think there's more work to do in that area. Personally, I think the FA need to restructure the whole thing but that's way off topic

Dave thinks Bob Dylan and neil Young are “unbelievably overrated artists” in history, so I’m not sure I’d be looking for musical guidance from him. (Having said that, I saw Dylan at the site of Woodstock (Bethel Woods) a few years ago and he was terrible. Listen to the records, kids). Dylan is an incredibly shit singer. But the music he writes? Brilliant. His recorded voice, though idiosyncratic, is fine for me on the whole. Amazing how many times you hear a song and then find out Dylan (or the similarly vocally challenged Tom Waits) wrote it. Only discovered that Make You Feel My Love by Adele is a BD cover when I did a family quiz during Covid.

You can bet your bottom dollar that a few of the players in that Academy got into our Academy and a few will get pro contracts.........Training & Development fees for the JPL Academy and all that. nudge nudge wink wink

If you want clear note- perfect singing go to his ex mate Joan Baez.

My question would be
Could we possibly charter an aircraft so a couple of hundred Town fans could attend a sacramento Republic game??
It would be nice to see where it all started and have a few beers 🍻 with the Republic fans

Fir me it’s about the voice. My favourite singers, the style of which you don’t hear anymore are Andy Williams, Matt monroe, Tom Jones the Walker brothers to name a few. Paul Simon gets the plaudits for Simon and Garfunkel yet Arts voice is incredible. Paul Simon when he first heard him sing at the school they were at together immediately said I’m going to be famous. He even stormed off stage because Art was getting the plaudits for bridge over troubled water. Anyway in short although singers need lyrics i believe it’s in the voice to deliver it and all I mentioned had/have fantastic voices.

If Kevin could kindly answer some of the questions below. Interested in the understanding of last season and current position the club is in. 1. As we are aware last season had 3 x permanent managers, 1 x interim manager, releasing of experienced previous players on loan/sold, signings which struggled, fitness issues/injuries and relegation and the financial impact from relegation-in the previous end of season review, Kevin stated Mark Cartwright had done everything asked of him and retained his position. In Kevin’s view what is poor performance by a Director of Football and is the judgement over a set time period ie 3 years+ 2. AB reported the issues with players and lack of professionalism. AB looked to be retained at the end of the season, therefore was a level of trust in him from the club and Kevin. In Kevin’s interview he said he wasn’t aware of the issues with the players before it was too late and we were relegated. In the reporting to Kevin by the clubs senior management team, the issues ongoing were not mentioned. How does Kevin set out the reporting from the senior team is validated in the future? 3. Does Kevin have or looking to make a shareholding in Beswick Sports? 4. What is the strategy for the club taking in consideration the learning in the last 12 months. Previously it was Premier League in 3 years. Recently Kevin said in an interview the club has to be ready for the premier league in all areas before it gets there. Assume the timeline is increasing from previous understanding the task in hand. 5. Is Kevin looking to increase frequency of visits to Huddersfield esp if things aren’t going to plan. Thankyou Thank you!!! Pretty sure we addressed 1, 2, and 4 in the last diary (but I could be wrong). Give it a check if you have time

But I’d rather slide down a razor blade into a kiddie pool filled with rubbing alcohol than listen to him sing.

I just can't stand his singing and I believe he's even said himself he's not a good singer, although I may be mixing him up with somebody else on that point.

Thanks for letting us ask questions again.
1. Will the UP THE TOWN series ever be finished?
2. With the lack of transfer activity currently happening, is there a worry we won't get what we want in place before the season begins?

Can Kevin try and have the Wrexham game scheduled to be played at Wembley Staidium, seeing as it will be their cup final?

Does the deal with Rudoni have clauses that will benefit us if he chooses to move on in the future?

What’s the hold up with the Alfie May deal?
Will the club do everything in its power to keep hold of our best players unless silly offers come in?
Any more movements regarding stadium ownership?
How many signings we looking at making before the season starts?

In the last diary you discussed big screens (jumbotrons) being difficult to install at the stadium due to its age. Has their been any progress on this? If not have you consulted with Birmingham who have managed to erect two huge screens in a much older stadium?

They really thought they could come in and do a 'Welcome to Wrexham' off the bat. I think it serves as a nice little summary of the first 12 months of Nagles tenure. Great intention, bad execution.

I know bringing the women’s team into the fold is not on the agenda right now but could we get a few of their games a season held at the JSS at family friendly kick off times?
We could open just the main stand lower tier - which we used to do for reserve games when the stadium first opened.
I have 2 young daughters whom I wouldn’t want to take to an EFL fixture yet with all the swearing etc. but would be great to take them to a much friendlier atmosphere at a women’s game at the stadium.

Has Kev any thoughts on including a home shirt in with the season card price? for example - this season £299 inc shirt?
13000+ home shirts would look amazing in the stadium.

Hopefully not, because I'm sure the majority of fans would prefer their season card to come without a mandatory £50 increase for a football shirt they don't want

Just take them to Storthes Hall and watch the games Town woman play there. Cafe and Bar open and an undercover stand to watch the match from. Your girls will love it there. The more support they get at Storthes Hall the more they can develop the womens team as a whole and get it to a level where matches could be played in a decent stadium with a few thousand watching.
