Why does no-one ever acknowledge that the majority of the fanbase were happy with those players getting those contracts? I must have missed that fan-wide opinion poll. Otherwise, this is just subjective conjecture. Okay then, why wasn't everyone kicking off? Where was the outrage? The disagreement? There was barely any murmurings, because people were blinded by what they'd done in the last 10 games of the season and the fact that Warnock had somehow made them into world-beaters. |

Because I can’t possibly have spoken with every Town fan and read every interaction and I don’t have a photographic memory. Nor do I have the documented evidence, because I didn’t make a record of pro and anti sentiment at the time, to disprove this without spending months cataloguing everything that was written at the time. I think what you mean to say is; what I remember is that my perception of the things I read and the people I spoke to, is that most were happy. Because, as I wrote earlier, otherwise you can’t back up a definitive statement like the one you have made. It’s just your opinion. That’s all. |

Live stream on Hertha Berlins youtube channel (not available in UK).....Town fans abroad can hopefully get it. You can if you have a vpn on your phone Tunnel bear vpn allows you 2gb free This got the game on YouTube for me, cheers for the suggestion. At risk of showing my lack of technological knowledge - how long goes 2gb normally last for on a VPN? |

We could have been a goal down within the first 40 seconds, defence was caught out by a long diagonal ball over the top (they've tried this a couple of other times) but it was a poor effort from the Hertha Berlin player when he was 1 on 1 with Nicholls.
Nicholls did well to be fair but since then it's been all Town!
Ward nearly scored when ball was played to him, tricking the defender and turning to shoot at the keepers near post.
Typical goal from a corner, not sure if it was Helik or Pearson.

There was a minority on here, and the rest of the club's social media channels, that were unhappy with the re-signing of those players. But whatever. |
