I don’t know. Because I can’t possibly have spoken with every Town fan and read every interaction and I don’t have a photographic memory. Nor do I have the documented evidence, because I didn’t make a record of pro and anti sentiment at the time, to disprove this without spending months cataloguing everything that was written at the time. I think what you mean to say is; what I remember is that my perception of the things I read and the people I spoke to, is that most were happy. Because, as I wrote earlier, otherwise you can’t back up a definitive statement like the one you have made. It’s just your opinion. That’s all. Alright clever bollocks. So basically, by your logic, you can't say whether the fanbase is happy or not, with absolutely anything, because we haven't spoken to every single one of them. I meant to say exactly what I said. There was a minority on here, and the rest of the club's social media channels, that were unhappy with the re-signing of those players. But whatever. So, suddenly facts and the accuracy of statements don’t matter to you? Interesting. All you have to do is back up the statement that you’ve repeatedly made and digging in with, that the majority of fans were happy with whatever, with the evidence to show it. But yeah. You can’t say that. Definitively as you have. Surely that’s logical. And you can’t use that as the basis to dismiss others opinions as you have, because that’s all your is. |

This line up seems so disjointed. Not sure how Thomas fits in with a 5-3-2. For me we don't seem to have started our best 11 once this pre season.

These two commentators are awful. “Michael Duff will be pleased by what he is seeing”…. What watching Hertha pass the ball around and Headley being caught in possession, Koroma failing to control the football and Sorba failing to chase back…

I've done it on a previous post. I found the threads on here that announced each re-signing, I found the Facebook posts and the Twitter posts announcing the re-signing and struggled to see hardly anyone complaining. The vast majority of people on each social media platform were expressing positivity at the news of each re-signing, although admittedly not as much on the Ruffels one. This line up seems so disjointed. Not sure how Thomas fits in with a 5-3-2. For me we don't seem to have started our best 11 once this pre season. I don’t disagree with the point around line-up or Thomas, but I would be surprised if we line up close to this on day one. I don’t think Headley is gonna make the cut. Like Thomas, I also don’t see what Koroma brings where he is. Line-up or not, we’re still struggling with the transition from with the ball to without the ball. It’s been our weakness through most of pre-season. |

I don’t really fully get where all the high praise is coming from, I’ve seen nothing new yet compared to last season. So many in our squad not comfortable with the ball. Pearson isn't very good at all. He’s handy with the physical side of the game, but he’s far from the player he was in the system under Corberan. Consecutive managers have insisted in possession that he plays and acts as out ball from the right and he’s just not good enough to do that. He was never tidy on the ball but he’s just reverted to hoofing it at times. How or why we keep asking this of him is baffling. I’ll take him as a backup but I’d be concerned if we’re reliant on him as a starter. Especially if he’s gonna play alongside Lees. |

In fairness we did have the better of the first 13 minutes, created a good chance and then got the goal. Was wondering at that point if they'd sent their kids or reserves to play us as they've another game in a couple of ours but since our goal we've been under the cosh and chasing after the ball. |

Would be good to see us actually play our strongest side instead of seeing Ruffels at LCB or Ward up front. As it stands for me Nicholls Helik Spencer Lees (would bring in another CB if possible) Sorenson Miller Kane Evans Hogg (need another here) Healey Koroma/Ward/Harratt/Bojan (all seem as bad as each other) |
