He has excellent positioning, he's not blessed with much pace but has the knack of picking up loose balls, plays progressive passes, and is calm as anything in possession. It's nice to have a technically gifted midfielder again after a few years of runners and cloggers.

Best passer of a ball since Mr Mooy in my opinon. Always looking for the ball and passes at a good pace with accuracy (most of the time). Just want you want from a midfielder. Kasumu compliments him excellenty He's technically good, but where he isn't a patch on Mooy is his decision making and awareness. He's one of those whose highlights reel will look amazing, because when it comes off it does look great but there are plenty of times when it doesn't or he over-complicates it when a simple pass would be better. League 1 is his level to give him the time he needs to find the ball. With less time the ball invariably gets sent straight back to the passer, he doesn't know when he can turn and take the ball. I'd be happy to be proven wrong but I don't think he could cut it in the championship.

Really clever footballer. However If I were a teammate of his I'd be having serious words about his Barnet. Herbie, you have more than one egg int nest, get yer sen to Sorbas old barber on Church Street and ask for a number 1 all over

I tend to disagree with some of this think he can turn and get space also think at times he plays pases to where others should be, he's played Duff style before to know what others should be doing.
