Will miss the banter run up to the games v Stoke City Chadders but keep in touch with DATM please... See in pub chat up here that youse have signed Celtic player Bosun Lawwell - Hopefully He’s ok for youse ! 😉 Best signing so far. And just got Koumas on loan from Liverpool for the season Feeling relatively excited. No doubt all optimism will be blown away by 2oclock this afternoonC'mon Chadders, you know that's far too early to give up.... for some of them on here it'll be 7:30 before they've decided it'll be a double relegation for us

Well you’ve now signed Lewis Koumas on loan who could absolutely light up the championship for you. Is he Jason's lad? Yes- who was a really gifted player himself. Lewis looks like he’s gonna be even better. Had a couple of very promising cameos last season for the scousers.. very highly rated.

5-0 up away from home.
Wycombe might have been the last time that happened for us?

So what’s the low down on the guy. Bit out of left field Brought in to work with Carlos Corberan. He was very popular as a coach. Took the first team on quite a few occasions due to Corberban having covid and then family matters, Pelach's record during this time as 'cartaker' was okay. But then the team was better and well drilled. After Corberan left the club Pelach decided to stay on and took the club on several occasions again as caretaker where his record wasn't very good. But the team was poor and confidence was crap. There are high expectations at Stoke, experienced managers with previous successes have struggled and I don't think it's an easy first managers job for him . But fair play to him for wanting to give it a go. Hope he makes a success because he comes across as a good bloke.

So what’s the low down on the guy. Bit out of left field Good honest bloke who stuck with us, rather than leaving with Corberan to WBA. I hope it works for him.

So what’s the low down on the guy. Bit out of left field What do you make of the sacking Chadders? Getting rid of Schumacher for Pelach looks a really odd decision. Pelach won’t last until the end of the season.

It’s a strange one. We finished last season strongly and the new signings look good. A bit hit and miss so far this season but I don’t think anybody saw this coming As for Pelach I don’t think many Stoke fans have ever heard of him
Mixed reaction on the Oatcake I’d say 50/50 saying it’s a good decision

Narcís Pèlach looking like he’s getting the stoke job Doubt I'll be the only one who could have been given 20 guesses (if not more) and not given that as the reason this thread was receiving attention. If it happens Good Luck to him, seemed a nice bloke and stuck with the club in 2022.

So what’s the low down on the guy. Bit out of left field My analysis (ultimately worth sweet FA but hey) is that Narcis is a really solid coach who has probably found his level as an assistant/deputy. When he was given the opportunity to take the reins at Town (albeit in a caretaker role) he didn't seem to grasp the opportunity - he came across as cautious, a bit out of his depth. Contrast with Worthington, who immediately changed things up and crucially got the players on board. Maybe this was just a stage in his development as a coach, and I would be delighted if he proves me wrong - I think I can speak for the majority of town fans when I say that Pelach was universally liked and respected here. However my gut feeling is that this is a big step up and he will have very little time to get the players on side. Good luck to him though and I hope it works out.
