I really hope he does brilliant, but if we don't sign anyone else we have gone from May to Taylor to him.
I think we have goals from midfield anyway, but would be nice to have someone other than Healey who you could pretty much guarantee 10+ goals. Other than him we currently don't have anyone else. It could be a lot worse, if we're raiding Queen, we could have gone from May to Taylor to Freddie Mercury.

A close pal of mine who knows Callum from international NI setup responded with "some player mate. Big future". With over 60+ international caps I'm inclined to trust his judgement. He wasn't Bullshitting. He looks like a really talented player. Goal, and a quality assist so far on his debut. I'll hopefully be over in October to see said pal of mine up against us in the league.

First half hour thought he struggled and looked a bit slow. Certainly improved in the last 15

Looks like it could take him some time to get up to speed fitness and strength wise but early signs are that he is a good footballer.

Freddie was a phenomenal vocalist.

I think tonight showed he’s a very good option from the bench currently and that’s great. But as we know we need a starting option asap. But agree he looked good.

Surely he's a better option than Koroma up top...so he's a starter and he should continue to improve after more squad training and game time

Not as quick as I had hoped but this is Huddersfield Town and we don't do quick strikers. Looks like a hard worker, won't shirk a challenge and a bit of quality to go with it.
Certainly has to be ahead of Ward and Harratt. Not sure I'd be starting him just yet

Looks the sort of player that’s a reyt pain in the arse to play against. Was committed to the press and put himself about. Took his goal well and a lovely bit of work for his assist. Solid debut for the young man.

What most impressed me tonight was when he got absolutely clattered in the first half and got up straight away without complaining and got on with the game.

I think with another striker in the door I’m hoping he becomes first reserve. But if he delivers - fair play.

He's direct, and wants to take on a player, I think he will hit double figures this year or very close to.

Taylor in - Koroma out on loan to Morcambe for the rest of the season with an option to buy for £5 - see how non league footy suits him next season ??

I don't think his debut could have gone much better. He's got fantastic work rate but he can finish and create aswell.

I have just seen the highlights and in addition to all that has been said, he showed a great reading of the game to check back on his run in order to remain onside in the lead-up to his goal - a very promising debut indeed 👏👏

Show's he's got a footballing brain.

Very impressive first game I thought. Some nice touches in link up play and worked hard. Took his goal very well too. As for Karoma , hes in one of those phases where he cant hit a cows arse with a banjo. No chance is so clean cut he wont miss it. Maybe needs one to bounce in off his knee or something, then hell get a few. Hes the most confidence driven player ive ever known. When he has it hes great and could be one of the best players in this division. Without it hes terrible.

Caused lots of problems with a couple of good runs, very unlucky to hit the post and it not go in and he had another goal bound effort deflected wide. The miss was a bit crap, admittedly. He was ok at Peterborough too, with an effective press and a trademark curler which wasn’t a bad effort. You aren’t wrong about the confidence thing, but I think he currently has it despite not scoring yet. Would prefer him as part of a 3 on the left and Duff has hinted such a line up is possible.

Not worried in the slightest about Koroma missing chances, just really pleased he's getting himself into positions and seems up for it. Always makes me laugh when players get criticized for missing the odd chance, especially when they've basically created them in the first place. The big thing is he looks up for it and motivated and confident, let's hope fans whining because he skies the odd shot don't affect that. Hopefully he scores on Saturday.
