A good win on Saturday, but Peterborough had their chances. A team with a more clinical front line would have punished us. Our defence still worries me.
My view is if you play three at the back then you would expect a minimum of two to have decent pace, we currently have one in Spencer......It is a bit of a worry & one MD will be looking to rectify playing with this formation. I actually thought Spencer looked quite slow at the weekend and not as quick as I remembered from last season. |

I’m sure the players will be up for it just as much as the fans. Only one change for me - Kane in for Hogg.
A nice early goal to get the ball rolling then Joe Taylor to come off the bench and bag 3.

A fascinating game in as much as it might be a bench mark of how the majority of teams will come and play at the John Smiths. How we adapt and are able to concentrate on what we want to do will be equally fascinating.
It could be a bit frustrating or it could be an opportunity to show what we are about.
Either way I think Town will win.

Obviously would be great to get another in, but I think we'll have to adapt the way we set up to compensate - how high the wing backs stay, where the covering midfielder is positioned etc. |

Yep, the one blemish from Saturday was our noticeable lack of pace in defence and if we press Stevenage like we pressed Posh, they will get chances to exploit that. TBF, Spencer is quick but Jones does the 100m in 10.9 seconds. He's surely the quickest in the league so not representative of the pace we'll face most weeks. Another mobile centre half would be good though, because I think our wing backs will get caught the wrong side of the ball at least a few times a game. 10.9 is going to be a handful at any level. 11.2 as a 16 year old schoolboy, I wonder how quick this lad can go now  - www.thepowerof10.info/athletes/profile.aspx?athleteid=377728 |

Yeah I know you were Actually before they signed all them players I had them as one of the top 2 behind us On reflection I think it's going to take a while for them to gain momentum so it's probably a good time to be playing them early on as it was with posh and their new back line Playoffs I think for the miller's I think Town will be champions Bolton to finish second And Posh to win the playoffs And Birmingham to implode |
