Iorpenda?
He's even further down the pecking order now and needs to play games if he's going to develop

Harratt, Hudlin, High wouldn’t make a difference. Ward would be worth holding onto for now as back-up (only). Jones, jury is out. Iorpenda should stick around as we still have the Trophy thing to lekk in.

Jones more than possibly any Town player needs to get his body used to consistent minutes on the pitch, otherwise he's not going to make it. Talented but no use holding onto here when we don't play wingers and he's only getting off the bench for the second string. Get him somewhere in L2 for half a season and if he does well bring him back.

I wouldnt be loaning out Iorpenda, although I'd like to see him getting more minutes. He will provide vital cover and provide a different option.

I think Danny will be involved a lot more this year. I get the feeling his injuries are dependant in his belief in what's going on. Fairly consistent under Carlos and Warnock but when the likes of Fozzy and Moore appeared he disappeared. I think he'll bust his gut for Duff. Still won't score many mind!

I’d be amazed if he doesn’t eventually get minutes by default. Evans and Kane seem a little bit shit in amongst the occasional highlight, whenever he’s appeared he’s created a bit of time and space and played a consistent 7/10 performance.

I’d keep Ruffels as a utility player who has the odd goal in him.

Hudlin can go out on loan or be released for me. I don’t know how he trains but he has just not improved and isn’t good enough. Interesting punt on a lower league tall player.
Ruffles was a good player before long term injury. Was only player to come out of Shrewsbury game with much credit.
Turton again was a good player before long term injury and from memory made quite a lot of consistent appearances. Can he get back to that level? I don’t know. A lot comes down to how he is training. Poor against Shrewsbury.
Manager needs to make a decision on whether or not Ruffels and Turton can get back to level they were at before long term injuries if not they need to be sold/released or paid off.
Maxwell and Lee Nicholls are both good goal keepers. All the other goalkeepers can be loaned out. Think there’s some sort of rule where we can just recall them all anyway if there are any injuries? Why have two goalkeepers on the bench?
Josh Koroma has improved and impressed me this season. Was very poor last season and season before(I think). For me he should stay.
Wardy very useful and professional player. Plays number 10 role well. Looks fitter and more mobile than last season but getting too old to be starting every game. I would keep him.
Marshall very good find.
Radinio Balker. Waste of money. Cant stay fit. Needs selling back to whatever country he came from.
Bojan Radulović. Waste of money. Cant stay fit. Needs selling back to whatever country he came from.
Tom Lees getting old and slow . I think he needs to be playing second choice to Helilk but I would keep him.
Patrick Jones loan out.
Kian Harratt loan out.
Rys Healey loan out. With option of recall if he improves..
Jaheim Headley keep. Good but young and inconsistent. Third choice to right-wingback. Need to Kasumo good second choice RWB and second choice DMC.
Hogg keep as third choice DMC but move into a non-player role.

If you mean Walsall, Ruffels was very poor. I felt sorry for Turton - he had Pearson one side, Ruffels the other side and Hogg infront. He's also never really played as the main CB for us, so I felt he had his work cut out.

When Harratt came back from his loan at Port Vale I thought he had a chance of making a decent career. Think he’s gone backwards since, he needs a fresh start to make it in the game now.
Same to be said for High, although he’s had a few long and don’t think he has the physical strength or mentality to make it.
I think we’ll see 3/4 leave in the next couple of days - Ayina and Hudlin amongst them.

He's broken his ankle, it's not a recurring muscle injury. Just really bad luck. Ward looks fitter? He looks as bad as he has ever been. You have to have 3 goalkeepers at the club at all times. Lees play 2nd fiddle to Helik? I would say Lees is actually the better 'defender'. Why can't they both play either?

What’s happened there then? Didn’t he seem to be a prospect? Honestly not sure what's happened with Loick. Did pretty well on both his loans up in Scotland and looked as though league 1 would be his level at the moment, with potential to get better. However, for whatever reason, he's not in either Cartwrights or Duffs plans. Didn't go to Austria, doesn't have a squad number and isn't even named in the B team squad on the website. So I would imagine the club will be working with him and his Agent to get him moved on before the window closes. It's a shame that a number of our young prospects didn't work out as hoped, as young players coming through save the club money and can ultimately generate funds when sold, with Academy player sales being 100% profit when considering FFP, PSR etc. However, I would blame that on Bromby and how he ran the Academy & B Team and poor choices of when and where to Loan players

It’s more players out with injury
Kasumu, Radulavic, Balker, Spencer, Healey
Next be Hoggs hip, Lees calf/back, Wards hamy, Pat Jones hamy, Turton, Ruffles, Wiles…
It is quite amazing the level of frequently injured players we have on the books
Duff says where the mind goes the body goes after Walsall game
I think we will be having a few more bodies in the treatment room
