I’m With you on this one. So little forward passing means we never turn a defence around. We always give the opposition time to reorganise, we we end up pissing around with it. Add to that we still have players (new and old) who refuse to shoot from outside box. It’s always take a touch, pass to wing, then defence gets time to still extra bodies in box to deal with anything. Folk that think a striker is answer to our problems are really in for a shock. We’ve had zero counter attack for years now, but folk still think a striker is the answer There is not a single player that will solve our problems but a forward that can hold the ball up would help. If he can score goals as well we would also be happier. We don’t have problem getting the ball up the pitch. We piss about getting it there is the problem. Strikers who hold ball up don’t usually have great scoring records, so would that be another waste of money, as we’re not up the pitch quick enough. Our transition from back to front is embarrassing at times. No single striker will solve this. |

I think we were officially shite from 75-79 in the 4th division, although to be fair we had some great times at the away games

nothing much to inspire after a promising start to the season..we've dropped off...eve the first 30 mins at Bolton I thought was poor...today it's been a full 100 minutes. Duff hasn't actually sorted out our frailties, they're still there, all over the pitch, the positional play is still poor, the passing still erratic, the work ethic indifferent too.
It's still early days but boy we're missing those 2 big quality signings we needed..a midfield general and a goalscorer..
It might all improve in the months to come, but it's a hard watch at the moment..it's like there's a lingering disease at the club since Covid that won't go away...a malaise...apathy...

It appears from the outside looking in we are content to be a League 1 side. That doesn’t mean we are shite again, just that we’re a fairly average side which I guess some supporters are ok about and given the lack of real investment in the team the owner is too.

Don't want to put him in the Aaron Mooy mold, but similar-ish attributes, on how he can control a game. Wiles and/or Evans, are more on the softer approach and I feel thrive when we have more of the ball playing between the lines. If we need them to be the general, we're struggling. Hogg isn't the answer. |

I couldn't wait for half time to come today i thought this could be 4/5 at half time we were that bad, that was totally unacceptable and if the management can't or won't see that were in trouble. |

At what point is enough enough? We’ve sacked countless managers, dropped a league, traded countless players, spent nearly 4m since January and for what? To lose 5 games in 6 and look completely devoid of talent, effort and ideas.
I am so sick and tired of this shower of shite letting me down.
