Look at our forward line, whichever players we pick, look at our midfield when Hogg is the most consistent midfielder, and then tell me that Duff is to blame

Look at our forward line, whichever players we pick, look at our midfield when Hogg is the most consistent midfielder, and then tell me that Duff is to blame Don't think Duff is to blame, think the club is rotten. A summer with a lack of investment which we were promised has led to the same individuals who let us down last season getting carted out to play 90 again. But ownership would take accountability for the fact its an underwhelming summer that's led us to this. Easiest option is to blame the manager. Just hope Cartwright goes with him which he has to really.

Wagner gave me the best times watching Town... he did an absolute remarkable job with players that should have been nowhere near the top of the Championship. But... he's failed in every position since. Why would anybody want him back? Because we saw what he did last time. Because he completely changed the culture of the club. Because sometimes it just works at a particular club and not others. There's many examples. Because his failures have been at clubs with their own issues. None of them in the situation town were or are in now. Because he has one remarkable achievement on his CV. Because sometimes it's better the devil you know. Because whatever you say about his coaching I've still yet to see any coach provide such an instant improvement on the pitch. Because he's now even more experienced with even more contacts. Because it would give the whole club a massive lift and he has the charisma to unite. Because he would likely see through anyone swinging the lead and get rid immediately. Because he has a big point to prove. I'm not saying it's even viable but personally I would welcome him with open arms. His performance in his last three roles doesn't concern me. Especially Norwich, inherited an expensive squad, didn't pull up any trees but didn't do terribly or any worse than the ones before him or the current one. Given time he'd probably have brought success.

Must be an awful manager finishing in the playoffs last season, losing to one of the most expensive squads in the league in dirty Leeds, what a failure he is!

But, the money Norwich had thrown at him to get success! And... the worth of their players.

Plus how many of those expensive players did he sign or did he get what he was given?

I've been saying since he left that he'll 100% definitely be back at some point. Clubs, boards, fans, managers can't help but going back with this kind of thing. But when we met again both us and him would be in a far far worse position that when we were last together. Like Jackson coming back two divisions lower in 2003 - pure desperation on both the club and managers part. We are in that far far worse position now, I'm just not convinced that Wagners stock is quite low enough for him to engage in this particular act of desperation yet. Yet!

Seems to me its been classed as a failure purely because Norwich fans seemed to have issues from day 1 at an ex Huddersfield manager not being big enough for some reason, and because Ipswich came 2nd. Norwich spent £3m on transfers under Wagner and brought in a fortune. Not sure they had much right to come any higher than 6th tbh.

But Duff has an ace up his sleeve mate, he is a Beswick client , which means Cartwright will hold out until its basically untenable mate. I think whatever happenes if Duff goes Cartwright will be going with him. Modern football stinks doesn’t it. It does, the link to Beswick is truly sticky in my eyes. I wonder who's agency Edwards is with. As we already know Paterson is with Beswick. To basically have advice from one organastion is possibly a danger. As who interests are they best serving? Duff as manager Cartwright as sporting director , an assistant manager and possibly coaching staff memebers!

And I mean terrible 😂
